  Short range, Works only for 2-3 feet away from reciever

  Summary: I was looking for something with some range on it. After doing some reading most of the wireless keyboard and mouse combos found in stores are not meant for range but only to be wireless. Not worth it in my opinion. They should make a KB/Mouse that runs off a wireless router or blue tooth. Which they do make a blue tooth set but not easily found in stores. From what I rear Gyration has a good product if you want range. If all you want is a nice laid out keyboard and mouse and wireless... well thats all you get. Want range? Get something else.

  Can't go wrong with logitech!

  Pros: Price (Compared to whats out there. )
  Keyboard is very lightweight.
  Mouse 5 buttons verses 3 for the usual
  Came with batteries
  Up and running in minutes

  Cons: None at this time

  Summary: Needed a " simple" keyboard and mouse combo. Have used logitech products in the past and everything worked okay. It wasn't until I purchased a microsoft product that I realized there was a difference. A cordless mouse didn't quite work as advertised.
  Got this product today, installed today and am thrilled with it. Using it now.By the way I hooked up the keyboard and mouse without installing the software. Hope it continues to work flawlessly.

  great once you get it installed

  Summary: If you already have a cordless desk set, do not follow the installation instructions. Original set up procedures disable usb port if you already have a cordless desk top. I needed to find an old ps2 mouse and computer to finally install the lx310. Once up and running, the lx310 is great. It continues Logitech line of outstanding products. However the hassle I experienced in setting it up, seriously detracts from the product. Logitech does not have a toll free tech support number when you run into installations problems. There on line (if you have access to another computer) email help, was harder to figure out then the correct installation. All in all, once you get it installed, it is a great desktop.
