Disappointing product
by ImageIMP on November 14, 2010
Pros: The keys do feel really nice & smooth; sleek, low profile is comfortable; "pretty"
Cons: Design flaws of wrist rest; "L" key popped off keyboard & (so far) can't be reinstalled

Summary: The aluminum wrist-rest band along the bottom of the keyboard is sharp on the edges where it meets the plastic of the main keyboard - had to put tape over the end to keep from cutting fingers when pick keyboard up; Logitech logo in the middle of the same aluminum bank is raised, sharp feeling & distracting; used for about 4 hours & the "L" key popped off - can't get it back on/Logitech offered 50% off a new (from their site) Logitech diNovo Edge (more expensive version) - for a popped-off key from a new keyboard? All in all I'm disappointed because I initially really liked this product and was counting on quality from Logitech...

Great Sturdy Keyboard
by BlessedToBeFree on May 25, 2009
Pros: Very Sturdy, superb key feel, great battery life, attractive, compact.
Cons: Nothing I dislike about this keyboard.

Summary: I have been using an IBM KB-8923 on a variety of computers since 1997 and to this day love and still use that keyboard. At my home office workstation I have 4 computers set up and have always searched for a keyboard to meet the standard set by the IBM.
This little diNovo keyboard fills the bill.
It is small so it does not take up any more real estate on my desk than is necessary which is appreciated. There is nothing flashy or gimmicky about this keyboard but is a classy piece of equipment. The gloss black and aluminum is a nice looking touch.
The keyboard feel is the most important quality to me. The tactile feedback of the keys is perfect for my taste, even better than the IBM with a short solid stroke.
The weight of the keyboard is hefty for its small size and keeps it firmly in place. The weight is a nice alternative to the standard keyboard fare delivered with most systems.
Battery life has been very good. I have used this keyboard everyday now for about a year and have replaced the batteries once.
The full size number pad and quick access to the calculator is a handy feature in my work. Volume controls work nicely. The additional function keys are nice giving quick access to my email and media content control.
It would be nice if the USB receiver were as small as the Logitech Nano receiver or even better for the notebooks if the keyboard had Bluetooth connectivity.
Overall, this is a very satisfying purchase. I will be looking for a replacement keyboard on my two workstations and the diNovo ?Keyboard for Notebooks? will likely be the choice for a no-nonsense keyboard desktop or notebook. -
Comfortable space saving keyboard
by tekstyle on December 23, 2008
Pros: - space saving design
- 2.4 GHz means you can use it on any computer
- extremely comfortable keystrokesCons: - non-adjustable height
- some keys are too close together
- CD-ROM drive keeps popping out when I press the backspace key (probably due mainly to my big fingers
- no backlightingSummary: This keyboard was purchased mainly for my desktop. I previously owned a DiNovo Desktop Laser and DiNovo Edge, the only reason I returned the Edge was because of the lack ...
Summary: This keyboard was purchased mainly for my desktop. I previously owned a DiNovo Desktop Laser and DiNovo Edge, the only reason I returned the Edge was because of the lack of a numeric keypad. This is a great alternative but for someone like me who has rather large fingers, I keep hitting the CD eject button which is immediately above the backspace key. Also, I wish they made the keyboard height adjustable because I prefer my keyboards to be as low profile as possible, I have even considered going back to the Edge and sucking up the fact that there is no keypad or buying a seperate wireless keypad (just typing this review I had to back space 4 times and 3 of those 4 I hit the CD eject, hehe) Eventually this keyboard will be for notebook only use when I travel and probably will go back to the Edge.
