One of the best keyboards I've ever used, wired or not.
by airdog92 on March 4, 2011
Pros: Key response is smooth and quick. The size and shape freed up a lot of space on my desk. Standing it on edge let's me take handwritten notes without the keyboard interfering with the pages of my notebook.
Cons: There's nothing I don't like about it. I tend to forget to turn it off when I leave my office, so a "sleep" function might be a nice addition. But I haven't ever returned to a dead battery, even after several days.
Summary: Details make this one of the best keyboards I have every used, wired or not. The design shows real thought into how one uses-and doesn't use-a keyboard.. Being able ...

Summary: Details make this one of the best keyboards I have every used, wired or not. The design shows real thought into how one uses-and doesn't use-a keyboard.. Being able to move it around my desk and even set it on edge have made my office much more functional. The calculator button at the top right comes in very handy, since I often check figures with the number pad. The shape and texture of the keys make typing comfortable and quick.
If you are looking for a new keyboard, this is the one to get!

Best Keyboard Out There!
by Boozchzz on February 18, 2011
Pros: Everything from the way the keys feel to the back lit keys! There are many controls for various programs, volume, email, Home, search, etc., If you download the Set Point Software then you can program various keys to do what you want & more!
Cons: For me there are no cons...The cons that I do read about from others are nothing more than little pet peeves that I would not consider "cons". I am not a gamer so I have no idea if this keyboard would cater to a gamer or not.
Summary: If you are looking for a really nice professional looking keyboard that has all the quality of most Logitech products then this is the keyboard you want! Seriously, just go ...

Excellent!!
by njc311 on November 21, 2010
Pros: Great key back lighting and feel while typing. NO MORE BATTERIES; charges via mini USB and the charge time is not that long.. 3-5 hours to full... plus you can use while charging.
Cons: Not really a CON as it is a "getting use to" feature. When you're not typing the illumination turns off within 2-3 secs; then as you return your hands to the keys the lighting turns back on. It would be nice if the time interval could be adjusted.
Summary: If you're looking for a wireless / illuminated keyboard with a laptop feel... mini USB charging... no more replacing batteries; this is the right pick. Perfect for those times then ...

Perfect for those times then it's either still dark or getting dark and you're too lazy to get up and turn on the light. 2 thumbs up! K800 FTW

Pros: Feel, backlight feature and its wireless! Great battery life.
Cons: Only con might be that the price is a bit high, but it's really not a con because the keyboard is worth every penny.

Summary: This keyboard is simply outstanding! Wireless with a great feel to the keyboard. I use it a lot at times when the lighting in the room is a bit marginal (along with my eyesight) and the backlit feature simply does its job, illuminating the keyboard for easy and accurate use. This is by far the best keyboard I have ever owned, wired or wireless. Loved it so much I went out and purchased two more for my two kids in college....they love it!

Pros: - Keys feel amazing.
- (My typing speed increased remarkably with this keyboard.)
- "Low-profile" keys - faster to press.
- Back-lit keys.
- Great battery time.
- Dedicated calculator key!
- Looks awesome.
Cons: - Lacks macros.
- Price - however, if you, like me, use your keyboard several hours a day this shouldn't matter.

Summary: This was literally a gift from heaven. My Logitech Alto ( a horrible peace of sorry junk) died during the warranty and Logitech arranged for replacement. Because Alto was disconnected, they decided to send me the K800. I could not believe it. K800 is as good as Alto was bad.The back lighting cannot get any better. The Keys are great. Typing is a pleasure. Bunch of feature keys, i did not even get to exploring all of them. Just love the calculator key. Cool design, takes little space, does not move like crazy.
A minor annoyance: Unifying does not work with my Logitech mouse( it probably has to be one of their latest models) and unlike Alto, K800 must have that USB device. This way I have now two USB ports blocked as opposed to just one before.
Anyway, I great key board. Absolutely recommended.

Perfect for those with vision impairments!
by darkstar28645 on June 16, 2011
Pros: The kb is sleek and stylish. The keys are responsive and make typing a pleasure. The illumination is perfect. Not too bright to be a distraction and easy to see in low to no light conditions. Battery life is excellent. Better than advertised!
Cons: The slim design is cause for concern in regards to portability. I definitely suggest getting a carrying case or bag if you plan to travel with it.

Best ever keyboard in my coder life
by bretzeltux on June 7, 2011
Pros: Don't know about sleep, back-light sensor delay problem I read above but for me its respond time is not longer than 1/2 second. It has the most quiet keystrokes I never had. good looking, good choice of light color (neutral , white). Mine is left to ON s
Cons: Wireless... Its famous multi-device small sensor seems to need some more work... because once or twice a day my mouse and keyboard just stop working - I have to unplug /re-plug the usb sensor to get the devices back. The CAPS-LOCK key looks cheap and fee

A must have for working in a dark room, wireless no bat
by mazinger4 on April 12, 2011
Pros: Sleek, laptop feel, low profile design. Smaller than most full size keyboards, but still feels large enough. Covenient wireless design that supports adding wireless mouse with the same dongle. Excellent range, Ive used it at 25' distance from PC no proble
Cons: I hate the wake response time (on the keyboard back lighting) when the keyboards goes on sleep mode while using the batteries. It takes 3 seconds to wake up and one second to go to sleep. I think it should be the other way around. Anyhow, I think you can

Summary: I think that this is a great keyboard for the price. Its not full of features as a gaming keyboard but serves its purpose nicely. Im not sure how much this keyboard cost was since it was a present in Dec 2010, but i know its not near as much as a $150 G15 with only a couple more gizmos. Great job Logitech.
