- Pricey input devices often feel more like luxuries than necessities. Not all of them are useful, but none are offensive. Recommended for high-traffic PCs.

The bad: One hundred dollars might be more than you want to spend on a mouse and a keyboard.

Summary: This is a great product from Logitech. I have had it about 6 weeks, with no problems. The 2.4 MHz wireless link is flawless. The mouse is very well designed and feels great. The keyboard has many features, and is ready for Microsoft Vista. The keys have a good feel, and the keyboard lays flat, very comfortable. Everything is high quality. I have the Logitech 880 Harmony TV Remote, and it works great. That led me to the MX3200. I highly recommend it.

Summary: im not going to lie, $100 is a little pricey for a wireless keyboard and mouse... but this is worth every penny of it. ive only had it for a weekend and have gotten alot of compliments from my friends. the keys feel comfy and the design is very sleek. installation is a breeze since its all just plug n play. overall my opinion is that if you have the money to spend, go for it! but if not then buy something cheaper thatll do the same thing. for $100, youre really buying the design and coolness.

Best keyboard and mouse I've ever owned.
by Jbnkr on October 31, 2007
Pros: Very nice smooth touch. Programable hot keys and mouse buttons are great.

Summary: I'm not sure what the complaints are about. I've had mine for about 4 months and replaced the battery on the mouse for the first time last week after using it all day every day at work. I've never had to reconnect even when replacing the battery. I can use the mouse and keyboard three rooms away (framed walls not cubicles), although I'm not sure why you would need to. I haven't experienced the mouse lag that has been referenced, although I do on my other wireless combo. The programable hot keys are a great compliment to the windows operating system and multiple buttons on the mouse are very useful. The keyboard has the smoothest touch of any I've ever owned. I bought mine as a refurbished unit so it cost less than most. I'm considering buying additional MX3200 combos for my other computers. I've never been disatisfied with anything I've bought from Logitech.

Summary: I tried this keyboard thinking wireless might have advanced since the last time I attempted to use a wireless mouse. Indeed it has, but the split second latency disturbed me. That said, I work on computers around 12 hours a day and type fast, thus, the keyboard latency was killer and annoying...and the mouse latency meant that interaction with the computer was slightly randomized and unpredictable.
Now, I'm talking about split second...the kind most people probably will never notice, but for "power users" or someone who works for a long time at a computer, this keyboard and mouse is a bad choice. I would first say to stick with wired as I have yet to use a wireless solution that doesn't have this problem to some degree.
Other than that I have heard good things about the Microsoft wireless workstation 6000. I myself am going wired with a kinesis contour keyboard and some simple mouse.3 out of 4 users found this user opinion helpful.

Summary: I had an older Logitech unit with EXACTLY the same configuration as the one shown which I used on a PC which crapped out. Then I got a lovely new HP Pavilion a6212n which came with that awful Windows Vista.
Anyway, the HP keyboard gave me a case of painful wrists after two months, so I dug the Logitech unit out of storage and fired it up. It worked great except for a message that kept urging me to upgrade for some additional line of software or two. So I went on line to Logitech.
As they say in Brooklyn, FUGGEDABOUDDIT. Their "on line" is in INDIA and English is a second or third language. They advised me to download software for a keyboard which in NO WAY resembled my keyboard DESPITE THE FACT THAT I HAD TO INPUT MY SERIAL NUMBER AND MODEL NUMBER TO EVEN GET TO THE TECH SUPPORT IN THE FIRST PLACE.
The ePinions place is also NOT the place to utter a complaint, either, I found out since Logitech is A SPONSOR and ADVERTISES! So if you have a complaint, somehow any attempt at "dissing" Logitech goes nowhere.
As they say right here; "Been there, done that."
On the other hand, the keyboard is GREAT, it's just that their tech support is EXECRABLE.2 out of 2 users found this user opinion helpful.

Summary: I love this key board! It has all the buttons you need an non you dont. Expect maybe for the VoIP button but you can program to do something else. The touch zoom thing on the side works very well. Then you touch the 100% to go right back to default, 100. short cuts to search, pics, word, excel, outlook, media player, and more. Get it.

Never loved a keyboard or mouse, UNTIL NOW

Summary: Transmitter is unobtrusive in stature, shape and color. The hot keys are easy to customize, but the features are plug and play so it's a no brainer for any tech level. Very easy install. Loved that the batteries were included. Got this set for about $80 at Circuit City 2/16/07 and am very happy with its performance. When you write for a living, your tools are important. Tempted to award this combo a 10.

Summary: Real problems with setpoint software no matter how many install/uninstalls I tried. Combo lacks many features I found necessary/no indicators for Num Lock; keyboard adjustment uncomfortable; eratic mouse functions etc. Logitech support supervisor was rude and less than helpful with unethical suggestions. Too many problems to keep duo; they agreed to replace it with the same or one of lesser value but in order to do so I needed to return it via mail to Logitech. I would be without a mouse & KB until my replacement arrived..too bad for me; Logitech support supervisor Jason suggested I go to local store & purchase a cheap one to use until the replacement arrived...then return the cheap one to the store! I said that sounded UNETHICAL but he said he suggests that to all of their customers..of which I am NO LONGER one(sad because Logitech was all I ever used before) Pretty tacky...don't buy the MX3200 unless you need to raise your blood pressure.

Personally question engineering and support
by last-logitech-buy on June 30, 2007
Pros: Great Wireless
Cons: Keys difficult, lack of adequate documentation, plastic feet break and there is not support

However, poor engineering and ...Summary: I could live with the lack of a good user guide or the keys sticking as the MX3200 really works well as a wireless battery unit.
However, poor engineering and inadequate support is another issue. The MX3200 keyboard has a set of plastic feet (stands) that can raise the keyboard or be retracted to let it lay flat. The first time you see them you know that trouble is just one adjustment away.
After 4 - 6 months, one of the feet broke. I called Logitech support and was told the only way they could fix the problem was to replace the unit but I would need a receipt. Who keeps receipts?
I offered to pay for the replacement feet - small plastic parts that should cost 25 cents each but I would be willing to pay $10 just to get my keyboard adjustment back.
Sorry - we don't stock the feet says Logitech support but we will have a supervisor call you within 24 hours. I never heard from a supervisor.
My view is this is an obvious engineering miss and Logitech should have a bin of these small parts to compensate for the engineering miss.
With the lack of Logitech support follow-up and the engineering issues, this keyboard is now worthless to me. I think I'll be looking at the Microsoft products to see if they are engineered any better.2 out of 3 users found this user opinion helpful.

Got it cheap but has 3 flaws ...
by rogerting on April 18, 2009
Pros: Sturdy construction, clock on keyboard, quick access buttons on mouse, zoom bar on keyboard, battery life warning / monitoring feature, etc. makes it feature rich.
Cons: Major flaw: mouse refuses to track straight and jumpy on screen.
Flaw #2: USB receiver sticks upwards when used w/the USB cable supplied. Risk of breakage if it is on the floor.
Flaw #3: zoom bar sensitive to inadvertent touch during typing.Summary: I mean, I want to like this keyboard. Got it for C$60 during Christmas sale and thought it was great. My daughter then decide to run around my bedroom ...
Summary: I mean, I want to like this keyboard. Got it for C$60 during Christmas sale and thought it was great. My daughter then decide to run around my bedroom where I was using it and steps on the receiver and broke it. Then got a new receiver for free. Then noticed the jumpy cursor recently. Updated firmware did not help. Going to receive a new receiver ... and see if it helps. If you look on their website - as of today, this MX3200 combo is the most active in their support site. May be that is a dead give away that this combo has problems right from the design. I hope my 3rd receiver works but it is hard to imagine that since they have so many mice and keyboards product, they could mess it up.
Oh, the reason I am waiting for this 3rd receiver is because it is on back order. Go figure.1 out of 1 users found this user opinion helpful.
