Summary: For such a simple device there are two major flaws in it. 1. once you switch from one computer to the other, you can not switch back for several seconds - too long. 2. The bigger flaw is that the designers decided to switch for you if they do not detect a USB signal. My set-up means that I sometimes I do not want my latop plugged into the USB - but I still want to share the monitor. It's very annoying that AGAINST MY WILL the device will then switch to the other computer. If I hit the button it goes back - but after a few seconds will switch AGAIN! It feels like a case of arrogant designers assuming they know how a product will be used - and being wrong.

Summary: This is a handy thing to have and I'm glad I have it. It's great, I can use one keyboard, mouse, and monitor with it. The setup is easy and I've had it for about a year and a half now. Works great. By default the setting I believe to switch to the other pc is scroll lock key twice then 1 or the number 2. Switches pretty quickly.
