The best KVM switch I've used so far.

Pros: Solid metal construction, excellent 1-piece cables and flawless performance make this unit a good choice for VGA hookups. Requires no external power.
Cons: Needs on-screen help for configuration of preferences. A Limited to VGA, so not for DVI monitors. Styling is outdated on this older unit, replacements may be better. A bit pricey, but the thing is built very well.

Summary: This is the perfect switch for techs who work on a bench. Sturdy enough to be moved around, 1-piece cables and easy function make it just be there and not be the tinkering focus. Just keep a couple VGA-DVI adapters handy. I'm a PC guy with experience in this environment, and the Raritan's are my favorite. Spendy for the home, but a good investment, as it should last forever.
