  Pros: - Looks nice.

  Cons: - Pain to setup.
  - Bad switching and setup design.

  Summary: To correct the previous review, it is possible to daisy chain. It is not possible by just reading the manual.
  If daisy chaining here are the following steps;
  1) Primary must be turned off.
  2) All cables must be disconnected from other KVM's.
  3) Turn on highest number KVM by plugging it in, then second, etc... working down to primary.
  4) After all are turned on then you can plug in cables in other KVM's.
  If you perform this any other way then the primary will not recognize the other KVM's or the PC's/servers on the other KVM's will not recognized the keyboard and mouse.
  This is a design *feature* with the primary syncing with the other KVM's.
  This is also undocumented anywhere by Belkin. Only discovered by their techs playing in the lab and some of them wrote it down in their notes.
  This was found after 2 hours of talking with support who read through scripts (in India) and having me plug in / unplug cables, power, resets, standing on my head, one foot, etc...
  Also, do not use a screwdriver to fasten the cables to the KVM or you will shear off the screws. Anything beyond finger tight rips the the screw right off on the KVM side.

  Belkin Pro3 does not daisy chain with other Belkin Pro3

  Pros: Belkin Omniview Pro3 works fine as a standalone KVM switch. Nice on screen display of all hosts attached to the switch which can be password protected. Simple setup and configuration.

  Cons: Omniview Pro3 does not successfully daisy chain with another Omniview Pro3 as advertised. When daisy chaining 2x OmniView Pro3 switches together, keyboard and mouse do not function correctly when selecting a host attached to the secondary switch.

  Summary: The Belkin Omniview Pro3 does not successfully daisy chain with another Belkin Omniview Pro3 as advertised (or even a Pro 2 for that matter). After attempting the daisy chain with 4 different switches; three different daisy chain cables; different mice, keyboards, and monitors the IT Support team and I here at my company have come to the conclusion that the switch simply doesn't work as advertised in regards to daisy chaining. We have lost almost 15 hours to support calls placed to Belkin for this issue. Not to mention all the money we've wasted shipping various components of the KVM setup to Belkin for replacement equipment as part of Belkin's troubleshooting process (when getting replacement parts you will pay to ship the defective product to Belkin and they in return will cover the cost of shipping the replacement to you). Belkin's customer support is dismal to put it in simple terms. Often times you are not able to speak with any support technicians - they will "take your number and call you back" which I find both insulting and infuriating after being on hold for 25 minutes (every time I've called - over 10 phone calls now). Please understand that this review has been written by somebody who has been providing IT support and Network administration for close to 4 years now. I am more than qualified to daisy chain 2 KVM switches together - this is absolutely an issue with the switches themselves.
