The good: Samsung's 470 solid-state drive (SSD) is light and good-looking, and offers great performance. The drive supports the traditional 2.5-inch design and works in any application where other SATA hard drives with the same design are used.
The bad: The Samsung 470 SSD is significantly more expensive than traditional hard drives, and its storage capacity caps at only 256GB. The drive doesn't support the new SATA 6Gbps data transfer rate.
The bottom line: If you want something that's fast, energy-efficient, lightweight, and durable, and don't mind the hefty prices, the Samsung 470's outstanding performance will make it worth the investment.

Hard to beat

Pros: amazing fast with win7 64-bit especially system start, office applications, sata II notebook most likely beats standard modern desktop pc's in terms of speed and IQ (energy, etc.) with this HDD
Cons: could be some more metal workmanship, it's just a feeling issue, can't complain about durability

Pros: The product may be Samsungs first consumer offering but it is going to give Intels release one heck of a run for its money. It performance is great!
Cons: Cost is high still for all larger drives but this will change.

Price barrier hard to pass

Pros: Nice to have speed boost of your sistem. Worth to install OS onto, and critical applications also!
Cons: Not nice the lack of new SATA III standard.
Think is just a time matter...
