- Bottom Line:
- Although the HP CP2025n is rather slow to print black documents and is missing supplementary features such as USB-direct printing and wireless, the color laser shines in output quality, and the software holds your hand through a somewhat daunting learning curve. The CP2025n also has a high monthly duty-cycle, so we recommend it to anyone hunting for a workhorse printer to complement an equally diligent work environment.

I hate HP tech support!!!
by dpyeon on January 26, 2010
Pros: Working until you have any small problem.
Cons: - When having any problem, you are doomed.
- And you still have to pay astronomical price for cartridges.Summary: There are many good functional printers with good tech support. But not this one.

Does the job. Reliable.
by waltnjulie on September 20, 2011
Pros: Results look good. Not prone to paper jams or other nuisance problems.
Cons: If the paper slips through the wrong way....trouble. There's a plastic panel that hand-fed paper is supposed to go on top of...if it doesn't, you can break your paper feed.
Summary: Thinking about replacing mine with the same model.

Great Reliable Workhorse Printer for Small Business!
by mindyks on June 12, 2011
Pros: This printer is extremely reliable. I have used it for two tax seasons, and it has printed hundreds of tax returns (many 20 pages or more) without jamming or otherwise messing up. The print is clear and clean.
Cons: It sometimes goes through a cleaning cycle in the middle of printing, which can slow you down. The color is good, but not brilliant.
Summary: This is a great, reliable printer for a small office, where most of the prinnting is text and not graphics.

does everything it says it does.
by dinoguy10 on May 5, 2011
Pros: easy to set up and use, print quality, speed, and features above average
Cons: ink is costly unless you use compatible.
Summary: a great compromise between large office features and home office affordability. However, as with all compromises, there are other machines that will function better or cheaper for certain applications.

Super easy setup with Mac.
by texasnan on March 15, 2010
Pros: Connected to my network and was able to print from my iMac and PC within minutes. No compatibility problems with Mac so far. Just want to see if there are updated drivers to support Snow Leopard.
Cons: Printer is very heavy. Cartridges are expensive, but since I don't print that much, they will hopefully last a long time.
Summary: Great printer so far. Networks easily, connects to both PC and Mac with no issues.

HP 1200 printer cheap and will break/burn out quickly
by popwisdom222 on November 15, 2010
Pros: It was cheap. But you get what you pay for.
Cons: The tech support is terrible! I have a simple blinking light for replacement of ink cartridge or a open door but both are fine. Tech support wants me to pay extra "fee" for info. To bad computers/technology is not built to last!
Summary: HP printers are not built to last. Bad service!

Prints good, but both printer and Ink is expensive
by holdcraftm on April 19, 2010
Pros: Good print quality, fairly quite operation.
Cons: Ink costs too high. Tech and Driver support non-existent to poor. Don't expect HP to upgrade printer drivers if you move to a new operating system. I went from XP to Vista, HP did not upgrade the printer drivers for my fully functional HP PSC 950
Summary: If you like paying $50 to $75 for ink every month or two, this printer is for you. HP doesn't make their money selling you a printer, they make ...

Exploitation personified
by Namnic on November 15, 2009
Pros: The duplexer works very well.
Cons: Cartridges cost more than a new printer WITH cartridges. Forget about getting anywhere near the trumpeted 2,800 pages per cartridge. Tray comes out too easily and is flimsy.
Summary: I bought this printer with a duplexer, then cheaper than one without duplexing. That inconsistency should have warned me! The cartridges are off the chart expensive. The printer gets very ...

Good Printer
by gzbsds on April 16, 2009
Pros: For a color printer, the price is right. Also, I only use HP Printers in my home.
Cons: User needs more training.
Summary: Easy to set up. Only issue I had is that I am using Norton 360 and I had temporary disable Norton to set printer up.
