Excellent printer for the price!

Pros: I used an HP6P for years and it is still going strong. This printer fufills all of my needs for printing complex real estate documents without a glitch! Never a problem with it. It is fast,economical, and sturdily built. A stepstool it is not.

Cons: I really cannot think of any faults after 3 years of using this printer. Maybe the only thing I would like to see is a wireless capability.

Summary: Simple to use and setup. RELIABLE, RELIABLE,RELIABLE,RELIABLE,....I cannot repeat this enough times!

good upscale printer for small business, inexpensive

Pros: fast, good resolution 1200 dpi, 100,000 duty cycle

Cons: cheeply built, toy like, you cannot stand on top of this machine

Summary: I picked this up with a $250 rebate so it came cheep, and for this price it is well worth it. it is not as sturdy as hp printers of old, like the old 4P. It looks, feels and sounds like it is cheeply made.(chinese manu}, but the other hp printers with more than 100,000 duty cycle and networking capability costs $1479. hp 4200(150,000). I wouldn't pay the list price $1200 but the sale price $999 minus rebate of $250 is worth it for the 2430tn. otherwise pay few dollars more and get the 4300 series or the 4300 series. its cheep so buy it cheep or leave it alone.
