Great companion to Mac Mini

Summary: As Mac Mini does not come with a monitor, and Apple's monitors are over $900, I was in market for an LCD that would utilize Mini's full capabilities. I eventually settled for Dell SX2210. I needed a webcam too but wasn't sure if SX2210's cam would be compatible. Once I hooked up the cables and turned everything on, the monitor was immediately recognized at 1980X1050, webcam and mic were functional. I was a seamless connection. Resolution was impressive and colos were vivid. I was also a little picky and wanted the monitor to match the aesthetics of the keyboard and the mini. The monitor has a nice blend of black, white, and silver.
Over a year using it with mac mini, and no complaints. Both Mic and Cam work. Highly recommended.
So if you're a mac user and need a monitor for your computer, this is the one you can buy.

Summary: I upgraded from a 17" samsung screen. Its a great size and has a very nice 1080p resolution. Thanks to the hdmi input I have played blu rays and my xbox 360 through it, as well as pc games and everything looks great. It has great contrast, and a fast response time, so it is great for games and movies. It has a great look, i like the white/black look. The inclusion of the 4 usb inputs is nice as well, since my computer is hidden behind a couch, i dont have to stretch to hook up usb devices. The webcam and mic have worked fine. 2mp isn't very high, but thats about what to expect from a built in one. The only negative i have is the same one mentioned in the editors review. The stand can be a bit wobbly, but it has never tipped and i dont expect it to. I was able to get it for $179 on ebay, and for that price it is a steal. I highly recommend it.

For the price, this is a great monitor for gaming.
by OC_Frank on July 8, 2009
Pros: Perfect size monitor for me, 2ms response time, and very good color.
Cons: Facial recognition software does not work. Loaded on Vista OS, called Dell and they wanted $80 to get the software to work. I declined, and am disappointed with Dell's customer service.
Summary: As long as you don't have to have facial recognition software to work, this is an outstanding monitor for the price on Dell's website.

Summary: Right now looking at other company's, this is the best 22" lcd monitor. I did one month research before selecting monitor for my home use as well as professional use and I couldnt find anything like this. Very cheap according to its price and full of nice features.
The most useful feature is 4 USB ports. It completely removed my pain of plugging mouse' bluetooth, Hp printer usb cable and Internet usb cable as well. Also i tested its face recognition and find out very excellent. It recognized my dad's face immediately after small set up.
In a nutshell I would say, this is best model that a high level programmer would want in case if he has shortage of money. I am a software engineer and some times heavy game player too and weekly watch movies as well. and till now there is nothing bad with this lcd. I felt into love with this monitor. I will give 5/5 to to this model. i got it delivered late but in my country this is not a big thing. -
