Excellent for professional graphics

Pros: Color accuracy and contrast are excellent. Very solidly built. All the adjustments a graphics professional would want. The "square-ish" 5:4 aspect ratio is excellent for work.
Cons: Fairly expensive... but worth it.
Summary: Do not compare this to standard 19" monitors. This is a serious tool for graphics professionals.

Summary: Do not compare this to standard 19" monitors. This is a serious tool for graphics professionals.
When I am editing or showing photography and someone sees what's on my display, they always express their surprise at how good the image is. Some cheaper monitors tend to have colors that are over-saturated or are overly contrasty. This impresses the novice, but it becomes tiresome and stands in the way of getting your work done. This NEC suffers from none of those problems.
If you are into gaming, don't spend your money on this. There are plenty of cheap large wide-screen monitors that will give you much more real estate for much less money.
