The good: The Samsung SyncMaster S23A550H has a visually striking footstand, a comprehensive OSD, color mostly devoid of hue problems, and good performance displaying movies and games. The monitor's brightness is fairly high, making it good for presentation tasks. The "trees saved" feature is well-implemented.
The bad: The S23A550H has a nasty habit of washing out bright colors, and in certain tasks it pushes too much green. Also, its connection ports are a pain to access and the cable management feature is shoddily implemented. The better-performing and better-designed Samsung PX2370 is available for the same price.
The bottom line: The Samsung SyncMaster S23A550H LED monitor performs well and the price is good, but it simply pales in comparison with its predecessor.

Pros: Excellent picture quality, elegant design.
Cons: Some blurring during action scenes when viewing videos. This is more apparent when the camera pans across a scene than when a character or object moves.

Pros: First of all like Eric of CNET mentioned this monitor was terrible out of the box when it came to displaying blacks. The blacks were grey and you could not tell the difference between grey on a black background. There was some light bleed. The colors were

Also looking at the specs online this is identical to the 300 Series 23inch by Samsung. This begs the question of the value you would be getting paying the additional price premium. I for one do not use the advanced ECO features so if that the only difference then I would say go for the S22A350 and save a buck or two. Otherwise brilliant display.

Pros: The color for this screen is unbelieveable you dont see this quality color on most tvs!!! i absolutly lovethis! Im a big video game player and i play hardcore games like crysis. the screen runs it SO smoothly even on the most intense parts.

Big and beautiful
Pros: Bright display, great eco extras--there's even a feature to tell you how many trees you've saved over the life of the product! Also, the device was a breeze to set up and the default settings were perfect. Oh - and a 3-year warranty from Samsung!
Cons: It'd be great if it were wall-mountable, but I knew that going in.
