  GOOD PICTURE QUALITY, BUT POOR DURABILITY.

  Pros: Good picture quality: Samsung monitors and televisions seem to have the sharpest and brightest picture.

  Cons: DARKNESS & SHADOW COVERS HALF THE SCREEN.
  The monitor worked until one day when the bottom right hand corner was dark. That "shadow" gradually spread across half of the screen. I read online that this happens when the LED backlight dies.

  Summary: GOOD PICTURE QUALITY, BUT POOR DURABILITY.
  I have not had a good experience with Samsung. Their televisions and monitors seem to have the brightest and crispest picture quality, but the durability of their products is subpar.
  
  DARKNESS & SHADOW COVERS HALF THE SCREEN.
  I purchased the Samsung T27B350ND last July (2012), for use in my office as a computer monitor and TV. The monitor worked fine until February 2013, when I turned it on one day and the bottom right hand corner was dark. That "shadow" gradually spread across half of the screen. I read online that this happens when the LED backlight dies.
  
  SAMSUNG CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT GOOD.
  I called Samsung to arrange for a return of the TV, and their rep assured me that they would take care of the cost of shipping and packaging (via UPS). They actually do not cover the cost of packaging, so I had to eat $20 of packaging -- that they initially promised me they would cover. The wait times to deal with their customer service are long, and the reps are not very good.
  
  THIS IS THE SECOND SAMSUNG TV TO FAIL ON ME.
  This is actually the second Samsung I have purchased that has failed on me. The first one developed black and white lines in the picture within three (3) days of purchased. I returned it immediately.

  Selling for $260 at Costco and $240 on eBay

  Pros: This is the only inexpensive HDTV with a headphone jack and USB capable of playing videos (mp4, avi, asf, ts, ps, 3gpp, and flash). Everything else either has a worse picture AND less features or costs much more.

  Cons: There are a couple of competing HDTVs with better speakers (these are only 5 Watts). Set is best viewed from above (as a monitor would naturally).

  Summary: I had purchased a Panasonic TC-L32U3 32-Inch last year for under $300. I love it but couldn't find it for less than $500 when I wanted to buy another! The only comparable TVs are last year's VIZIO E3D320VX 32-Inch Class Theater 3D LCD HDTV with Internet Apps for $350 (also supports passive 3D and wifi) and the ViewSonic VT2755LED 27-Inch 1080p 60Hz Professional Monitor with HDTV Functionality (Black) for $360. At this price, this set stands alone.
