  Quality of manufacturing I expect from Nikon.

  Pros: IExcellent construction. Glass giving flawless images. Ability to crop and enlarge images far beyond my expectations.

  Cons: It makes the camera top (front) heavy. However, I knew this going in. Nevertheless, coupled with the UR-E20 step-down ring, the entire unit is confitured in such a manner as to fit snuggly into your supporting left hand.

  Summary: If you have realistic expections of its magnification capabilities (X6--3 from the camera and 3 from the converter) I can recommend this lens without reservation. Nikon has made it simple and very straight forward to use with my P5100. I am a novice in every sense of the word and if I can do it, so can you.
