Too light and cheaply made, especially for the price
by 78doog on September 13, 2012
Pros: Good size and feature set
Cons: Left click stopped working after a few months, really noisy clicks, badly made, massively overpriced

great mouse but it defeats the wireless capability.
by brightworks on August 8, 2012
Pros: - Smoother response
- fast on/off scroll wheel (rather than the hit and miss ratchet of the previous version I own)
Cons: - The Stiff usb cable is difficult to attach and annoying to use. With this mouse I tend to use it until it stops working and then have to dig out the cable and plug it into the awkwardly placed slot(s).
- Shorter Battery life
Summary: I have one of these and one of the older versions.

I like having a docking station to charge the mouse with the older version, and find the usb cable difficult to attach and annoying to use. With this mouse I tend to use it until it stops working and then have to dig out the cable and plug it into the awkwardly placed slot(s). Missing out on those "vital moments, such as gaming" (if I gamed with it).
Other than charging it, I like the improved feel and performance over the older model.

Best mouse I've ever used.
by parisvega on April 24, 2012
Pros: - Ergonomics
- Percision
- Surface compatibility
- Scroll options
Cons: - Weight (a little heavy)
Summary: I'll probably re-buy the same mouse or the latest version of it, when the current one dies. Although, I've had it about 8 months and its going strong.

Comfortable and can charge while still being used.
by tuckman78 on February 20, 2012
Pros: -Small USB receiver
-Comfortable
-Works on my glass desktop
-Button under the thumb to toggle apps is a good idea
-Can charge mouse while still using it. One of the features I wish I had on previous wireless mice.
Cons: -Pricey but on par with other high-end mice
-Forward & Back buttons could be bigger in my opinion
Summary: I've had other wireless mice, including a few from Logitech. I've never been disappointed by any of them. I stopped using wireless mice for a while because charging ...

Summary: I've had other wireless mice, including a few from Logitech. I've never been disappointed by any of them. I stopped using wireless mice for a while because charging them became a hassle if you were still working with it. I really love their new feature that lets you charge it while you continue to use it. This is especially nice since I work at home and can't afford to wait to charge it if necessary. That being said, if you're willing to shell out the money for it, I definitely recommend this mouse.

My MX Revolution died after years of great service. :(

This mouse is even better than my much loved, MX Revolution. It is expensive, but when you factor in Logitech's lenient 5 year replacement policy, you'll probably never need to buy a mouse again. :D

Got one for work
by darrow-wolfe on September 30, 2011
Pros: The Logitech Performance Mouse MX has a great feel with lots of features to customize the buttons varying on which program you're in.
Cons: The mouse lacks the side scroll wheel that the previous model had and the left/right on the top scroll wheel is too tight to be practical. Also lacks the charging station of the previous.
Summary: I bought my first Logitech Performance Mouse MX a couple of years ago and still use it daily at home. Since I spend 8 to 14 hours a day at ...

Horrible battery life
by coolspot on June 8, 2011
Pros: Comfortable, good ergonomics, good tracking.
Cons: VERY POOR BATTERY LIFE. Battery only lasts for 3 - 5 days maximum, much too short for a wireless mouse. Yes it's rechargeable, but the charging cable is not very convenient. For a 100.00+ mouse, it is very disappointing the battery life is so poor.
Summary: I'm using the mouse as a wired mouse since the battery life is so poor :(

Great for everyday work.
by xavpaquet on December 24, 2010
Pros: First of all, the shape of the mouse is amazing! I have big hands so I just can't use those notebook mice that would fit five times in my hand (not that mouch :P). There are not too many extra buttons, which is great and they placed at right spots.
Cons: Way too expansive! It is almost the only one that would fit all my expectations except the price. Also, it is NOT Bluetooth, which sucks since a usb dongle (as small as it can be) can never be as nice as integrated bluetooth.

Summary: I am not a computer gamer, so I can't tell you about ingame capabilities, though, I think this is the perfect mouse for everyday work and drawing. I work with AutoCAD and Solidworks and I find it awesome. I use this mouse with my macbook pro (download SteerMouse, do not install the logitech CD) both on OS X and Windows XP. The wakeup delay of the mouse is very quick (something like ms). You can adjust DPI, which is great if you want to save some battery life. It tracks on GLASS! That's just awesome.
Last but not least, it looks great!
If you want a real desk mouse that works great and you have the budget, buy it (much cheaper on ebay though, i got it for 70$CAD instead of 120$CAD).

Great mouse but rather high priced
by windchanneller on December 15, 2010
Pros: rechargeable via USB, replaceable rechargeable AA battery, and large range
Cons: Some units develop a constant double left click near the one year mark, and right handed only
Summary: Defiantly a need for clear glass desk users, just don't clean the glass often, it actually needs a bit of dirt(dust) on the glass for maximum detection. But ...

Summary: Defiantly a need for clear glass desk users, just don't clean the glass often, it actually needs a bit of dirt(dust) on the glass for maximum detection. But keep in mind, its just freshly cleaned glass that is an issue, a palm print or any small dust will get you running flawlessly once more.
