Terrible. All three I had broke within 3 weeks to 3 months. Waste of money and patience.
by Pantalaimion on March 31, 2007
Pros: It works great for about a week
Cons: Terrible mouse. Unreliable after 3 weeks, almost guaranteed to break.

Summary: I've gone through three of these. The first one lasted quite well - worked a full 3 months or so. The second one would lag and would stop fully responding, which was annoying. Even after a battery change and tests on many different computers, it just wouldn't respond fully. It you tried to click, the click would go through once every 5 times, and moving the curser was just impossible as it would recieve only for a few seconds before not responding for a while again.
The third one - less luck. It worked well for about 3 weeks, then it just went down the drain like all the others.
I'd strongly suggest staying away from this mouse. Sure, it's comfortable, but unless you want to stock up on them, you'll find yourself mouse-shopping every few weeks.3 out of 3 users found this user opinion helpful.

I beg to differ
by CM90 on April 25, 2009
Pros: According to CNET, this mouse has a three foot range, but my own experience with it begs to differ. I have used it at about a six foot range, and it functions just fine; and unless you're pounding it with a hammer, it's not going to break easily.
Cons: The only complaint I have about this mouse is the USB reciever is a little long.
Summary: It's an excellent mouse for the price, even though I got mine for free.

Summary: It's a great product for the mobile laptop user who still wants the comfort of a mouse. The battery slips right into the mouse itself. If you look at the picture there is an oval shaped button with a red symbol of some sort. You push that an the part of the mouse with the microsoft logo pops off and you put in 1 AA battery. I would not reccomend rechargable. The battery life is pretty good. Receiver fits into the bottom and automatically shust of the battery in the mouse.

Summary: I am a college student and I do not like to use the track pad on my laptop. So I bought this because: A) it was Microsoft and B) it was pink. I do like my mouse very much...however after using it for over a year, problems occur. The biggest one is the green light on the receiver doesn't turn on when I plug it in right away and you have to plug and unplug it SEVERAL times to get it to work. Worst yet, it'll stop working sometimes at the slightest bump of you hand.) and then... yeah same process. Bottom line: If your on your laptop 24/7 or travel a lot wear occasionally your in a tight spot...don't get it. You will get annoyed.

Excellent choice for minimalist mousework
by buddy1065 on December 4, 2006
Pros: The dongle fits under the mouse and shuts it off.
Cons: Scrolling is fine but I prefer smooth, not notched.

Summary: This is one of the best mice I have ever used. Works fine in Bootcamp Windows XP or Mac OSX without any software at all. Battery is supposed to last about 6 months. For a minimalist like me who does not need a bunch of buttons to hit accidentally, this mouse is perfect. I dont intend to operate my C2D Macbook Pro 30 feet away; why should I? I have a remote for that. Plus it works instantly; it doesn't sleep like my old Microsoft BT mouse, or be "discovered" like BT in order to work. I don't have to remove the battery when travelling. Perfect, perfect, perfect and cute.

Waste of money.
by IndigoNeko on December 21, 2011
Pros: Inexpensive wireless optical USB mouse.
Cons: Cheap paint that wears off quickly. Extremely short receiver distance (under 3 feet at most). Tendency for mouse and receiver to stop communicating especially after reboots. Middle mouse button finicky (counting scrolls as clicks and vice versa).
Summary: I can deal with cheap paint jobs that wear off.

I can deal with the 3 foot maximum distance since it's designed for a laptop, though if your USB receiver is on the other side of the laptop from your mouse it probably won't work.
I can't deal with the fact that the mouse will sometimes straight up stop working randomly, requiring me to unplug and reinsert the USB receiver, especially after rebooting the computer. If I'm playing an online game and the mouse stops working, chances are pretty likely that I've lost the game thanks to this faulty mouse.
What I really can't deal with is the fact that the middle mouse button is so finicky that it can't be used. The scroll wheel is terribly stiff and won't actually move when you try to scroll it. Applying too much pressure in an attempt to get sufficient grip to turn the scroll wheel will cause it to register a middle mouse button click even though the wheel hasn't been depressed far enough to click. When you do try to click the middle mouse button by pressing on the mouse wheel sometimes it will click and sometimes it won't. The middle mouse button is essentially useless.
This mouse is a complete waste of money. Whoever engineered this thing needs to be smacked upside the head and demoted to a janitorial position. -
Great mouse!
by andrewkim789 on December 11, 2011
Pros: It worked right away on Windows 7. It worked and is still working for about 5 months. It's comfortable and cheap, and battery life is awesome.
Cons: The USB is too long
Summary: Overall, it's a good mouse and it's worth the price. If you want to get a really good mouse, check out the Bluetrack mice (like the Explorer Mouse)
