Looks are decieving.
by dschumer on December 9, 2009
Pros: Looks Great. Scroll wheel is nice, I guess.
Cons: The power switch (not button) broke the first time I tried turning it off.

Summary: The on/off switch is the achillies heel of what appeared to be an otherwise excellent mouse. Stuck it right back in the box and exchanged it for a Logitech. Why they would design it with a switch that slides back and forth, instead of a push button, is puzzling. I would tell anyone to stay away from this one.

A jumpy little mouse
by davidlindner on July 28, 2012
Pros: inexpensive, easy to use, compact
Cons: pointer doesn't always respond to movement, you have to clean the sensor by blowing on it. Sometimes is overly sensative
Summary: I am out to shop for a new mouse after putting up with this one far too long.

Ready to pitch this after less than two days.
by carlsa on April 22, 2012
Pros: Overwhelmed by cons, but nice feel and size. Scroll works well
Cons: Cannot accommodate the jumpiness of the pointer. It's all over the page. Claims to be usable on many surfaces, but it is jumpy on mt newly cleaned mousepad
Summary: Totally disappointed in the performance of this Microsoft product. Usually, MS products are bulletproof and durable. This one will not survive my throwing it out the window too many times. ...
Summary: Totally disappointed in the performance of this Microsoft product. Usually, MS products are bulletproof and durable. This one will not survive my throwing it out the window too many times. The troubleshooting guide has been of little help. Have not had it long enough for the power switch to fail as mentioned in other reviews.

Great Mouse
by chris_regier on September 9, 2011
Pros: Lightweight, easy rolling, comfortable, easy to haul
Cons: rubber on track wheel gets stretched out and is then unusable.

Not a good mouse
by vvvsuresh on September 3, 2011
Pros: Design and 5 button options.
Cons: On/Off Switch doesn't work after 1 week.
Scroll wheel has no control.
Looks very delicate.
Doesn't work on glass surfaces. (Wrong information, as it works on any surface.)Summary: I purchased this mouse and after 1 week, now i am not able to power-on even with a new battery.

There is a problem with the on/off switch. I tried for some times and then it worked and suddenly it stopped working.
I think series 4000 is a better mouse than this. -
Funtionality is great, battery life is poor
by MatthewBragg on March 18, 2011
Pros: Plug and play, Easy to setup button for most programs, good feel.
Cons: Battery life is less than 2 weeks for a name brand battery. Much less for the cheap ones
Summary: Funtionality is great, and it is real easy to setup for any porgram (I.E AutocCAD, Acrobat), and the feel is real comfertable aswell. If you are willing to use ...
Summary: Funtionality is great, and it is real easy to setup for any porgram (I.E AutocCAD, Acrobat), and the feel is real comfertable aswell. If you are willing to use rechargable batteries and change hem out every few days, then it is a really nice mouse.

Best Mobile Mouse for the right price!
by rlloyd on January 26, 2011
Pros: Blue Track, 7 button function, scroll wheel, micro usb, built in storage for micro usb, and batter low indicator. Oh, great packaging
Cons: No protective pouch.

Summary: I love the product! it fits nicely in the palm of my hand. I was able to easily switch from my logitech wireless big usb stick mouse with ease. No complaints here. If you need a portable mouse with functionality GO BY ONE NOW. I actually plan on buy one-two more for my self as backups and my wife wants one now, she actually regrets giving it to me as a gift.

A great mobile mouse that gets the job done.
by Chris-Gonzales on August 3, 2010

Summary: I bought this mouse for my grandmother who in term gave it back to me since she didn't like the fell of it. The mouse does use blue track technology that us susposto allow the mouse to work on all surfaces. Like many mobile mice the "nano" receiver is small, so if your going to remove it from your USB port make sure you plop it in the mouse or risk loosing it.
My main gripe is the battery life. I rarely use it and the battery life is real low. Not sure why though, but I'm thinking of switching mice now. -
Worthy Companion for your Laptop
by sbhagia on October 3, 2009
Pros: Blue Track, Ergonomic, Nano Receiver, On off switch on back of mouse conserves battery life when not in use
Cons: No Mouse Carrying Case supplied, blue track will not work on glass or mirrored surfaces

Summary: This is a nice mouse. It replaced the Logitech v500. I consider it ergonomic because it fits well in my hand and has a smooth scrolling wheel. It has many buttons to customize but I have not bothered with that as the mouse is easy to set up. You plug in the nano receiver and Windows Vista premium automatically recognized it. The receiver is small so I constantly am able to leave it in the usb port while traveling. I like the on off button on the back of the mouse that conserves power on the go. Microsoft did not supply a carrying case with this Mouse so eventually it is going to have wear and tear from being with my laptop. They supplied a CD software but I feel that since it is a Microsoft mouse, the software should come loaded with Windows. For example, the buttons cannot be customized without installing the software provided. It is not a big deal, but I don't want see the justification of installing Microsoft Mouse software in a Microsoft Windows Premium environment. The fine print on Microsoft website also states that Blue track technology will not work on Glass or mirrored surfaces.
