Best Bluetooth Mouse, especially for Mac Users
by lakerfan023 on October 27, 2009
Pros: Good battery life, works with Mac/Windows, Plenty of buttons for a mobile mouse, Nice packaging and comes with a carrying pouch, gaming mode via de-tachable USB cable.
Cons: A little small for people with larger hands like me. Price could always be lower :)

Summary: This mouse is the best bluetooth mouse that I've ever used. I use it primarily on my Macbook Pro and let me tell you, the Apple Mighty Mouse and the newer Magic Mouse don't even come close to the quality of the Razer Orochi. This is a great mouse for any person looking for a bluetooth mouse that can double as a great gaming mouse, heck I even recommend it to non-gamers especially on Mac because it costs the same as the Apple Mice which are not on the same level.
At the moment the ability to customize the buttons can only be done on Windows, I think they are working on the Mac, but you could change the settings in windows and then use it on Mac OSX as the mouse saves your button configuration. Hopefully they will release this fix soon.
Do yourself a favor Mac users and get this mouse over the Apple ones.3 out of 3 users found this user opinion helpful.

Summary: Hands down...if you want a gaming mouse to go...look no further. This device has perfect measurements (at least for my hands) can be used left or right handed, and performs like a darn dream! To top it all off, the design is beautiful and the build quality it top notch. It's a bit pricey, but once you get over it, there's no turning back...you're hooked. Get Imba! Get Orochi!

Great mouse, but a little small

Summary: Love this mouse, it's always in my bag when I'm on the go. Since my desktop mouse died, I'm actually using it wired for there too. It is a little on the small side and after a few hours becomes a little tiring on the hands. However, it's the best portable mouse I've ever used.
Although I don't have to do it often, I do wish the batteries were easier to change. As it stands, you need to peel off the top housing of the mouse in order to access the battery chamber. I always feel like I'm going to rip one of the mouse buttons off. -
Bluetooth eats batteries and too small for big hands
by danalexsmith on August 25, 2011
Pros: super sensitive
glides across the table
customizableCons: batteries don't last long
doesn't fit rechargeable batteries

The first problem I found was that it didn't fit rechargeable batteries because they're fractionally bigger than non-rechargeable AA's. And it was get through top of the line AA's in a week so I was going to be eating through batteries.
The second problem was it's size. I'm 6"3' and have biggish hands and this guy disappeared in my hand.
My colleague also bought one and because of the Bluetooth battery usage problem he now uses it wired. -
The Best mouse for macs out there.
by the_tinybit on December 26, 2010
Pros: Awesome responsiveness when used wirelessly. Absolutely no lag whatsoever, even if you have bluetooth apple keyboard hooked up to your computer. Great from packaging to design and drivers (goodbye Logiteck, you suck!).
Cons: Well, the mouse is a bit pricey, but it costs every penny i paid for it. There's nothing else to say =)

Best Mobile Mouse Ever.
by cconway1 on December 1, 2010
Pros: -Wired / Wireless option, swaps between these flawlessly.
-More DPI than I'll ever use.
-Bluetooth works perfectly.
-I have fairly big hands, and can fit my entire hand on the mouse; perfect shape.
-Onboard memory for settingsCons: -A little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
-The buttons on the right side are hard to reach.
-The 1000Hz polling rate can only be used in wired mode, but that's understandable as bluetooth is too latent to keep up with it.Summary: If it were a little bigger, I'd consider using it as my desktop mouse; it's that good! I don't have any experience with Razer desktop mouses (my ...
Summary: If it were a little bigger, I'd consider using it as my desktop mouse; it's that good! I don't have any experience with Razer desktop mouses (my last two were Logitech G5 and G500), but I can say that this mouse definitely outperforms the G5. It was actually the reason I chose to upgrade to the G500 desktop mouse, I was missing the >2000dpi and 1000Hz polling rate features. Highly recommended for mobile gamers and power users with cat-like reflexes.

Amazing mouse, best ever used, but some issues
by inrianian1 on October 9, 2010
Pros: Love the mouse, beautiful controls, and very compact. Love the new customizable 2.0 software.
Cons: I am having some issues when I use different Macros, and I usually run into the issue when 2 or more Macros are set, but when I just have one set, there are no issues. The software runs fine though, no noticeable issues other than the Macros.

Summary: I am running a non-Intel PowerMac G5, OSX 10.5.8 Leopard, and have loaded the new 2.0 Razer software for the Orochi, as well as updated the Mouse?s firmware to 1.06 via Windows. It may be the age of my Mac that's the issue, but not sure. So far I'm the only one I've heard of that's been having problems. Overall though, I was using the Apple Magic Mouse just prior to this Orochi, and hands down I would much more prefer the Orochi. I do miss the touch sensitive surface of the Magic Mouse, as well as the side scrolling, but overall the Razer Orochi is superbly better in tracking, accuracy and overall functionality. Good job Razer on a very successful BT Mouse

Great bluetooth mouse
by 616Bear on July 23, 2010
Pros: Great performance even comparing to regular wireless mouse (I was using AnywhereMX), very responsive. The known "lag" issue was minimized to only 0.5-1s in my experience with this mouse, which is very unnoticeable.
Cons: The only thing I found missing is left/right scroll.
Summary: Excellent mouse!!!

Great Mobile Mouse
by joech26 on July 12, 2010
Pros: - Wire / Wireless modes
- Bluetooth
- Great looking
- Comfort enough for small mouse
- Build-in memory for settingsCons: - A little small
- No Bluetooth dongle included for those who don't have adapters
- a little heavy with 2 AA batteries for wireless mode
- Bluetooth enter sleep in 3 sec without any activities
- a little lag when the mouse wake up
- PriceySummary: I had used Microsoft Mini Explorer and Logitech anywhere mx and none of them can compare to this one.

Mini explorer has a large dongle which is annoying for laptop users
Anywhere MX is very uncomfort
The wake up lag is not a problem for normal use.
For the gaming part is depending on how you play, but you can always use wire mode for the best performance. -
I really like it. Very simple to use and fits nice!
by dg4466 on June 25, 2010
Pros: High sensitivey, easy setup, on the fly dpi adjustment. This is my first "true" gaming mouse and I always thought they were way overpriced for what they are. I was wrong, they really work better especially in FPS, and I love my Razer Orochi!
Cons: To really get the best gaming response you need to run it wired. Though it is wireless, you lose half of its quality using as bluetooth.
Summary: I've spent about a month using this mouse and my gameplay has improved by 80% or more because of it! I think that speaks for itself. I thought my ...
Summary: I've spent about a month using this mouse and my gameplay has improved by 80% or more because of it! I think that speaks for itself. I thought my character jumping or "glitching" was due to the program or internet connection and I now know it was my mouse all along. If you're looking for a general bluetooth mouse, this is to much. If you're looking for a top quality bluetooth gaming mouse that offers double the precision wired, you can't go wrong here, I LOVE IT!! I'm now buying a razer mamba because I like the orochi so much....we'll see if its as good!!
