  Most BANG for the BUCK - We LOVE this microwave!!

  Pros: Due to the Inverter technology this microwave cooks food evenly, and FAST! The Genius Sensor really is genius and works perfectly every time whether you are cooking a roast, oatmeal, popcorn, or an omelet.

  Cons: I wish they would have used the fingerprint resistant coating on the top and sides too!

  Summary: It is one of the few microwaves wrapped completely in stainless steel, and the front is coated to virtually eliminate fingerprints - wish my Bosch side-by-side refrigerator-freezer had this coating! This is the best microwave ever! (Our last Panasonic lasted 10 years.) And, since it has the Good Housekeeping Seal, the warranty is extended from one year to two years, with the magnatron covered for 5 years. The guy that wrote the negative review was basing it on his experience with customer service - everybody has a bad day - but if you want a microwave that actually makes cooking easy and fun - buy this one -- it is worth many times the price in superior results in food quality, ease of use, and convenience.

  HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - OUT OF BOX NEW NOT WORKING

  Pros: It looks good.

  Cons: I bought this microwave which was the most expensive in the store. Set it up as soon as I got home and it didn't work.

  Summary: I followed all the troubleshooting suggestions first then called customer service. The CSR was inpatient, condescending, and never apologized for the inconvenience. Finally after walking me through the set up several times he told me to return it to the store. He said I was not following directions - to indicate why the unit did not work. I asked him if he thought I was an idiot and he continued to say I did not follow directions. I followed his directions precisely and the unit never worked properly - the light was on and the tray inside was turning but the unit was not running. I asked his name and he was hesitant to give it, then said "Jack" and claimed he could not give his last name. I asked to speak to a manage and he placed my on lifelong hold. BAD NEWS! i CALLED AND SPOKE TO A MANAGER AND THEY HAD NO JACK. Never again will I purchase a Panasonic product due to customer service!
