  Summary: The display doesn't come on and we tried unplugging it for a few hours and plugging it back in as someone suggested. It is unbelievable that a microwave lasted only 1 month past a 12-month warranty. I will not buy this brand again. The microwave certainly looks nice and worked fine for the short time it worked. I recognize that technically we used this over a year, but in good conscience I cannot choose 1-2 years from the options below.

  Don't Buy This Microwave

  Pros: Matches the stove, inexpensive. Looks good.

  Cons: Started making a loud buzzing noise a few days after I paid $150 to have it installed. Even though under warranty, Samsung techs wanted another $50 to take it out to fix it after diagnosing it as a bad transformer.

  Summary: Lame Samsung warranty customer service and faulty product. Should have known due to it's cheap price. Tech said it was about to catch fire so it was good that we fixed it right away. I don't expect to have to deal with this when buying a brand new product! Terrible. Don't worry about your microwave matching your stove. Buy a better product! (So far the stove is ok; I am hoping we don't have the same trouble with that.)

  Had this unit for 14 months, it caught fire.

  Pros: Looks nice, matches the stove, fridge, dishwasher

  Cons: Did not last but 14 months.

  Takes many phone calls to try to get some refund. Almost called Korea.
