  Deceptive Practices

  Pros: None. I am returning the mixer and reporting them to the Attorney General Consumer Fraud Bureau.

  Summary: They advertised a rebate for a mixer, so I bought it on-line and downloaded the rebate form. It did not list the advertised model so I called KitchenAid and they said 'Just write it in' so I did. I sent in the form and just got a postcard back saying 'sorry Johnny', so I called them and they said the mixer was not eligible for the rebate. I have the bloody screen capture of the website with my mixer (model number showing and rebate offer next to it), so I asked to speak to the supervisor. Again I got the 'Sorry Johnny, if you have a complaint, fax it to the complaint dept.' I am returning the mixer because I don't want to give my money to deceptive people and I wanted to post this here in case they do this routinely to people, so folks will know.
