Pros: Everything was in the pachage as advertised.
Cons: Product does not automatically set itself to your DSL settings. Manual setting to my Verizon DSL line also failed after repeated attempts.

Summary: I called tech support. The best part was no hold on a Friday night PST U.S.. However the first tech walked me through the steps he thought was going to fix the issue and it didn't. The second tech I called walked me through the very same steps and then had me try to connect to it via USB. That didn't help either. Then their escalation 2-nd tier support came up and walked me through the same steps again and then told me to take it back to the store I bought it at as a defective unit. I am an MCSE and support the top 25 OEMs in the country. I can tell you the DLink support were a bunch of parrots reading the same script on their screens with no variance or creativity of trying something different. As I said, the best part was the no wait on line. Let's see if New Egg will take the device back now.
Pros: Nice low-profile package for a simple DSL Modem. Easy setup CD based web installation that works for both Mac and Windows users and a variety of ISPs. Setup guides were clearly written and easy to follow.
Cons: Only supports 100 Mbit Ethernet connection (sufficient for today's highest speed ADSL connections) Automatic setup didn't scan for Qwest VPI/VCI combination, so had to call Qwest tech support.

Summary: Solid DSL/ADSL stand-alone modem that supports even the latest ADSL2 and ADSL2+ protocols. Administration is straight-forward and setup was easy - as with most network device setups - they work flawlessly a thousand times and then one non-standard setup will cause hours of troubleshooting. The installation scripts didn't check for my Qwest VPI/VCI combination so I had to call Qwest tech support. Knowing what question to ask resulted in a quick answer (BTW: Qwest here in Denver area uses (0/32) updated the configuration and the modem connected, authenticated and had me online in a matter of seconds. Paid $59.99 at Microcenter, so the price was inline with the features. The Modem supports My 7 Mbit line at full speed, and my Linksys wireless router automatically attached to the modem with no problems.
Pros: This DSL modem works good when it's connected directly to the computer.
Cons: This DSL Modem will not recognize my Vonage VOIP device neither in DHCP or bridge mode in PPPoE.

Summary: This DSL modem works well when it is connected directly to my computer. But with my Vonage VOIP device inline, this D-Link DSL-2320B modem will not recognize my Vonage VOIP device neither in DHCP when I configured the DSL modem with my ISP's username and password, nor in bridge mode when I configured my Vonage device in PPPoE with my ISP's username and password.
But when this DSL modems is connected directly to my computer, this modem work well in either DHCP when the modem is configured with my ISP's username and password, or in brige mode in PPPoE when I configured my computer with my ISP's username and password.
I tried 3 other DSL modems, and the other DSL modems recognize both my Vonage device and my computer either in DHCP or in bridge mode in PPPoE.
If you are planning on using a Vonage device, or any other internet telephone VOIP devices, do not buy this modem, it may not work. If you buy this modem, it will only work when it's connected directly to your computer.
Pros: It can be used with an external router to support more than one computer.
Cons: Since the setup will be done from a computer, not the external router, it must be tricked into accepting the M.A.C. address of the external router.

Summary: Spoof the M.A.C. address of your Ethernet port to match the M.A.C. address of the WAN port of your external router prior to running the setup on the modem. After the setup is done, connect the router to the modem and set your computer's M.A.C. address back to the original address. Then the modem will work with the router and the router can pass out private IP addresses to all the computers in the LAN.
