Best Data Stick so far
by jmac6783 on July 1, 2011
Pros: Great speeds when in a 4G area (averaging 5Mbps down).
Cons: Limited 4G area. SLOW upload speeds. 39.99 "unlimited" plan is throttled when 5Gbs is reached (throttled down to EDGE speed).
Summary: Great speeds when under the "4G" umbrella. Able to use as a hotspot through laptop to connect iPad, iPod, iPhone. Great rate plan with exception to the 5Gb throttling.

Pros: NOTHING GOOD TO SAY.
Cons: Where to start? Terrible customer service. Slow speed no matter what time of day or location. Throwing away $40.00 a month this service.
Summary: Don't bother buying it. Go with AT&T or Verizon at least they work. I've called tech support at least 20 times and each time they have ...
Summary: Don't bother buying it. Go with AT&T or Verizon at least they work. I've called tech support at least 20 times and each time they have a new reason. It may be my area, the network, my computer setting, Guess what we have 2 laptops, a Macbook and a PC, and it the same speed on both no matter what location I am in.

I would rather stick pins in my eyes than use T-Mobil.
by 1DavidN on December 3, 2010
Pros: There are no pros.
Cons: Using T-Mobil network that has never worked well.
Summary: Anything associated with T Mobil is suspect. My buddy and I tried this and it was working about half the time in SoCal.

Great in Metro areas - not so good elsewhere
by CaptainDave on December 3, 2010
Pros: This unit really flies in areas where you can receive their HSPA+ signal.
Cons: Unfortunately, it doesn't take a long drive to get back to their 3G, then Edge and finally (really slow) GPRS out in the boonies.
Summary: If you live in a major metro area, you can't beat it - I dropped cable service. Just know where you will be going. Note that while going out ...
Summary: If you live in a major metro area, you can't beat it - I dropped cable service. Just know where you will be going. Note that while going out of town rapidly dropped the speeds, it will still usually connect. On the other hand at&t has better out of metro speeds, but is often overloaded in the metros. Pick your poison.

Do Not Waste Your Money
by polident9 on November 24, 2010
Pros: Portable and set-up was easy.
Cons: Connection continues to drop. Called customer service and was told there was no enhancement plan in my area to improve connection, however, I could pay a $200 early termination fee.
Summary: I like the fact that the usb stick is small in size, however, I can not recommend this product to anyone. The connection constantly drops.

works great for not a bad price
by cawinckler on June 16, 2010
Pros: Internet speeds are comparable to my home wifi. Easy to install. Easy to plug in and connect to the web. Works with my Mac. A lot cheeper than paying for hotspots when traveling.
Cons: Only available where there is cell phone service.
Summary: It is a great product for a reasonable price. I paid an initial start up fee and then only 39.99 a month for unlimited data. I would recommend this ...
