The board is cheap in cost.

Pros: Works well in windows xp mode.
Cons: GFX work very poorly with most versions of Linux.

Summary: Intel Mini ITX boards suffer from bad Linux GFX driver issues,
if the Intel board has a Intel gfx chip or a SIS gfx chip on it.
If you want a Mini ITX board that is stuck at lower resolutions in Linux mode then buy a
Intel Mini ITX board. These boards will work great if you intend to
use them with windows xp.
I own the Intel D201GLY, it works great and displays excellent 1360x768 in xp mode.
In any of the main stream flavors of Linux, Ubuntu, open suse, mandriva, etc it displays
vertical tearing across the screen at 1360x768. Ive downloaded the bad Linux driver from Intel's website, no change.
Intel is so confident in their Linux driver they have the following disclaimer:
"IMPORTANT NOTICE: All information and software contained herein is provided "AS IS" to Intel customers."
Intel's Attorneys probably insisted they do that, to avoid the law suits from angry customers.
I've read all the boards and tried the different fixes, none of them have worked for me.
Some have reported success fixing the issue, I'm starting to think they may have been the ones in the Intel sales
or damage control dept writing on the boards to say they got the drivers to work ok.
You know, good old fashioned company spin control. Rather then have the software engineers just fix the issue.
The bottom line, if you just want to run Windows the Intel Mini ITX boards are ok,
if you want to run Linux, find a mini ITX board from another manufacture.
I will not buy Intel products ever again because of this issue.
New mini ITX boards from other manufactures will be running ARM Processors, they will have
lower power consumption figures, better performance, and better Linux support.
Remember the marketing hype "Intel inside sticker" on the out side of the pc's.
Intel should put out a new sticker saying, "Intel Linux support "AS IS", buyer beware".
