This is awesome!

Pros: I am always traveling. Being able to have an amp on my phone (and iPad) is very convenient. No more heavy lifting :)
I love technology.
Cons: I dont like that I have to wait another day to receive my irig. I must have it now.

Best way to play guitar on your iPhone yet!

Pros: Superb adapter and sound - beats previous attempts
Small size
Nearly no latency
Super convenient - no more hooking up to my laptop
Tilt wah is phenomenal
Durable
Easy to install
No batteries needed
Fits in my pocket or guitar case / gig bag
Low price
Cons: Needs more name-brand amps like their desktop series (Fender, Orange, Ampeg, etc)
Distracts me from work and family!

Summary: The AmpliTube For iPhone app sounds superb with the included samples. Plugging in with the iRig adapter is divine. The folks at IK really worked this one out, and have excelled where others have failed.
There is nearly no latency, just as advertised. The convenience is undeniable too - even with other small interfaces for my laptop I cannot stand hooking all that up and booting into a sometimes-flaky OS and waiting for applications to start up and then after all that - I LOSE MY FOCUS. Now I just plug in, start AmpliTube and rock.
Every other practice solution has been a hassle to set up and use quickly, but I always have my iPhone on me. Now I can keep iRig close by and just grab a guitar and rock. I don't often wander far from my iPhone, my guitars, and now the iRig!

The editors review is accurate. Sound is mediocre.

Pros: As the review stated, IK solved the physical connection challenge. Now they need a better sounding app with easier controls- more important than the graphics.
Cons: Sound quality is low- I can't get the knob to land where I want it on less than three tries. I downloaded the "crunch" amp, which was buzzy and muffled, kind of like the "lead" amp tone. Afraid to download others for more of the same. Not happy.
Summary: I'm sticking with my Pandora. Much better sound quality, more flexible, play along with my Iphone with a standard stereo interconnect.

Pros: I got this thing last week and haven't turned my amp on sense. I'll tell ya one thing that will help pay for this gem - your room won't heat up 5deg from tube amp heat. Stay cool and crank the hell out of it. The tuner on this thing is awesome!
Cons: Cuts into my sleep becuz i can now "perfect" the late night go to songs that i play when i should be practicing scales. It doesn't come with a mic stand clip. I feel they shorted me that way. It only appears to come in black. Cord could be longer

Summary: This is a great secret tool to use to surprise the band. No more volume wars! If you have failed to stumble onto a good digital tuner - trip no more. This has an awesome tuner. My pedal steel sounded like crap and it was really getting hard to play cuz i couldn't quite dial it in. Plugged into iRig and boom - tuned it right up! The sound is great and tweekable. Practice anytime anywhere and play the same song as often as you like, or until you get it. No one gets tired of repetitive set lists and you can play at the volume you would play out at. The noise canceler is virtually perfect.
It's my favorite iPhone accessory.

Pros: sounds great, cheap, easy, AMAZING, i will never go back to a amp again.
Cons: it made me hate amps. But thats good i guess :) it saves me alot of hard earned money.
