Ipod is a good player.. except for reliability
Pros: The ipod's sleek design is great for in-pocket listening. It has great sound. The ipod is very light and has decent battery life.
Cons: The earbuds SUCK!! The ipod also isn't as reliable as I would want it to be. Sometimes you have to reset it just to have it play. The price is also kind of a blunder

Summary: Well what can I say the battery is stuffed and I get about 1hr of use out of it. I never used it for the first year (it was in storage while I was out of the country). I try to get a new battery under warranty but Apple tell me to cough up $150 big ones....
Thanks for the apple support Mr Jobs! You wont be seeing me buying an apple PC any time soon.1 out of 1 users found this user opinion helpful.

Horrendous Battery Life
Pros: Click wheel, good menus and navigation structure. Durable.
Cons: I-tunes is clunky. Battery died after 9 months and is not user replacable. Battery life also steadily decreases over the life of the product.

Easy to use, made a great gift.
Pros: I bought this (silver) for my wife for Christmas and she initially didn't know what she would use it for. But after two months, she doesn't leave the house without it. She uses it constantly in her car and in her office with a pair of altec lansing speake
Cons: After only two months, it's almost full. She has 967 songs on it and only 232 mb left. We really didn't expect to fill it so quickly. I can't coomment on battery life, because we usually use it plugged into an electrical outlet via a docking station. Also

I owned this.. then returned it - waiting for something better.
Pros: Interface, design, sound, no movable parts (you can run with it or take it to the gym - the ultimate reason I bought it) This was my first choice player. I would have choose Carbon if there was no problem with static.
Cons: Price tag, Doesn't work at all on some PC machines... (I could set it up on a different PC but on mine itunes or the ipod updater would not recoginize it even though windows did. I tried every fix available and Apple support kept redirecting me to fixes

disappointing...
Pros: very simple, easy-to-use, nice display, OK design
Cons: as soon as i got the mini i noticed one major difference between it and my abandoned iriver 256 mb flash player. it was the sound - specifically the bass. immediately i realized the heaphones sucked so i bought the sony noise cancelling earbuds- but its b

Average MP3 player with so-so battery life
by MisterLeek on December 8, 2008
Pros: Click wheel, good menus and navigation structure. Easy to use and attractive metal shell.
Cons: Battery life isn't great and definitely could be better. Ear buds sound quality are just OK.
