  GREAT PLAYER EXCEPT FOR ONE THING

  Summary: I love listening to my new ipod Mini 6GB. I only have one problem to voice about it. The improved ipod battery is not improved enough in my humble opinion. My final solution for this only challenge was to pick up a batterygeek 100+ hour ipod battery. So far everything is sounding pretty good.

  Great mp3 player with easy installation

  Pros: Easy installation to windows, bright color, colored click wheel, click wheel makes for simplicity, sound quality, good size LCD, good size hard drive, feels well built, can't scratch easily, iTunes

  Cons: earbuds fall out of my ears easily, but no big deal.

  Summary: The iPod Mini is a great little gadget! I love mine. The only time I looked at the manual was to read up on charging, do's and don'ts, and installing it to my PC. My point is that it is very easy to use! I love the bright colors, and color coordinating click wheel. It has a good size hard drive. Holds 6GB worth of music. That's 1500 AAC 128kbps songs. I experienced a smooth and simple installation with Windows XP. So, that's a plus. The unit itself feels well built with its aluminum anodized metal. It can't scratch easy. The mini comes with iTunes, which I absolutely love. It's simple to use. Apple presents their products very nicely. Everything is well organized and neat. The interface is simple. I figured it out within 5-10 minutes. The only gripe I have with the mini is that its earbuds keep falling out of my ear easy. They aren't really junky like everyone says. They sound good. They just fall out easy. That can tend to be annoying. But everything else is great. Overall, I say, for a beginner looking for a nice mp3 player at a fair price, go for the 6GB iPod Mini.
  
  Oh, one last thing. I know this has nothing to do with the mini, but I'm sick of seeing those get free iPod things in the reviews. Back off. Sorry, but it is really annoying!!

  They Are The Market Leaders For A Reason

  Pros: Small, Nice Design, Good Battery Life, Perfect Amount Of Storage Space, iTunes is excellent

  Cons: No More Than 4 Color Choices, N AC Adaptrer Included, No FireWire Cable Included (doesn't matter for me)

  Summary: Apple with their iPods are the market leaders for a reason. I now have the 6 GB ipod mini and it's fantastic. I used to have a Zen Micro, and I had 6 problems with it (with hardware and firmware) in 2 months, so i returned it and got an iPod instead. Apple aren't leading the market5 because of brand name, they are because the iPod mini is simply the best microdrive player there is.

  Summary: I recently bought an ipod mini with the official apple branded accessories so i can exercise whilst listening to music as it claims. Whilst running, it drops, and is damaged so still within the warranty, I ask Apple to replace it or fix it for free. Reply was, to either buy a new one, or pay just as much money for a new one to fix it and did nothing. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

  Love the Mini Ipod

  Summary: Overall, this much needed upgrade by apple beings the iPod Mini back into the game. Competitors were coming up with the new 5GB devices and now Apple has one-uped them. The 18 Hour battery life is an amazing upgrade. More than double the batery life this device is much improved. The cons still exist, of course the lack of an FM tuner is a huge downside but the lack of a color screen, who cares? What kind of pictures do you need to look at on the tiny screen. For pictures, pick up the new iPod Photo for just $100 more ($349). Also, Apple has removed the Power Supply cord and Firewire from the purchase. They are availible seperatly for $50 total.
  
  9/10...all they have to do is add the FM Tuner for a perfect 10! APPLE DOES IT AGAIN!
