Pros: That beautiful simplicty that continues to clear store shelves and frustrate competitors. Ohhh, and the geeky street cred that comes with owning an iPod slightly different than everyone else's.
Cons: Did a portion of the proceeds go to support U2's political projects?... Sub-par construction.

Summary: I don't even like U2, so why did I cough up 30 extra bucks for this particular iPod? The overload of white at my local Apple store just got to me, and I reached for this model simply because I liked the look better than the other government-issue iPods on the shelf. Regardless, this newest iPod (U2 or otherwise) makes picking through your music collection a joy. It doesn't play or record FM radio, record my voice, clean my house, wash my car or whatever, but that's not what I bought it for. The screen is gorgeous, and it performs as advertised flawlessly.
My only concern is construction. The "select" button and "Hold" switch have some wiggle to them. By comparison, my iPod Mini (Green... The silver version just reminded me of white) feels much more tightly screwed together. I don't know if the play in these buttons is a flaw in all iPods or just a goof on mine.
Anyway, I'm thrilled with this player. A $50 premium over the old white 20GB iPod was too much, even for me. But somehow $30 seems reasonable to bring some exclusivity to my iPod.1 out of 1 users found this user opinion helpful.

Pros: Very attractive design, mass storage (20gb), very easy menu system, very good display, improved 15 hour battery life.
Cons: U2 signatures on back, no firewire in box, And thats all i can think of !!!

The only issue that I have is that the thing got scratched up so quickly. Had i known that they get so scratched up, I would have purchased a skin with it to begin with. The front is a little bit scratched but the back is reeeeeally bad. I guess because it is chrome. Anyway, if you are looking to buy one, get a skin too!

Pros: Decent Battery Life,Colors,Photos support, great equalizer etc.

) but thats ok, if you are really looking for some serious music,iPod is for you. 20 gigs of music non stop plays on, battery life is decent (it has worked for 8 hours for me and didnt die , when i came back). I dont think Earbuds are that cool, but if you want some fun buy bose 149$ headphones, real good sound with quality noise cancelling (it is not a noise cancelling one, but it does so effectively, so why bother paying more? )

Summary: At first I thought iPods and Apple sucked, but after I just bought this I have severly changed my opinion. The iTunes are so easy to use and put tracks on my iPod and to rename them. It is so easy to navigate from album to album, not unlike the incredible sensitive touch pad from Creative on the zen touch. I am glad I invested the extra $40 Canadian to get the special U2 edition which looks so much better than the normal iPod. As long as playing music and viewing photos, you can also play games on it which is really cool. This is a great investment for anyone who loves music.

Pros: this ipod has all the pros of a regular ipod but It looks way cooler, girls love it, this ipod sets you apart from everyone else who has a regular old ipod
Cons: Same cons as other ipods, battery takes a while to charge, back gets smudged easily but u can whipe that off, also it does scratch a lil easy but u gotta be careful with it,
