Summary: I bought this mp3 player to get me through the gap. We had a 40 gig ipod and loved it until right after our warrenty was up. Then Apple could care less about you. Like alot of people I dont have alot of money so I dad to save a bit to get another bigger mp3 player. So i found this one at home depot.
Not a bad little mp3 player its simple and it does what you ask. Sound quality is not the best but hey 50 dollers as aposded to 300 for a bigger ipod. It has a easy interface easy to store music. Fm tuner is not bad does have a cheap feal to it but everything is still working. Love the expansion slot. The only real problem I have with it is the battery. As you can imagin a aaa battery does not last long so I would find myself putting a battery a day in it. I listen to alot of music so this was a problem to me. If you dont listen that much then not so much of a problem. It also came with cute little speakers i thought were really good. Like I said not a bad little unit. I have my Zune now so we will see how that goes. If it was not for the battery I would not have replaced it. Seems a shame really

Cons: pure plastique, joystick feels cheap

Summary: Overall a great device if you are looking for a cheap but handsome tool. I will return my sandisc e250 as I do not need the "video mouse" mode The Coby 1GB with SD expansion fits perfect as it has all functions necesary to listen and transport music. Easy drag and drop via Windows explorer, no need for conversion or extra software. Easy self explaining menue, only the joystick seems to be very cheap. The Coby is not that elegant device as an Ipod but I want to listen to good music and not to look good with my MP3 player. The earphones are surprisingly good for that price, the Sansa e250 are not of that good quality! The resume function after the device had been tured off is great as nothing is more annoying than to click through the folders to find your last music. I would recommend this device to everyone who just want to listen music (radio or MP3)and does not need to impress others with the money he spend. Go, buy!
