The good: Strong sound quality and battery life; expandable memory; supports DRM-protected WMA and Audible files; USB 2.0-compatible; durable design.
The bad: Somewhat confusing menu controls; poor-quality FM recording; software rips CDs only into WMA.
The bottom line: What it lacks in grace the M25 makes up for in performance.

Summary: 's got a few quirks, but, for the $49 i paid for it (at Fry's) I really have no complaints (if i had paid the MSRP i would be ********) The sound quality is 'bout as good as it gets and with an insane batery life i am willing to put up with a few minor quirks, ie; the tags can not be updated in the player, which is a mass storage device, a big +...
i 'aint gonna ramble any more, i'd say if you can get it for less than $60 GO FOR IT!!! -
I like it more and more...
Pros: This is my first MP3 player. I received it as a present, and even though I was suspect at first, I grew to like the m25 a lot. The software works flawlessly (on WinXP) and the sound is excellent with my high quality Sony headphones. I bought an extra 1
Cons: The FM tuner is not the best but still acceptable, and the FM recording is low quality. The supplied headphones are nothing to brag about, and buying a better pair will make a huge difference. The little control "stick" button works fine, but some funct

It's Good When All You Want To Do Is Listen To Some Music
Pros: -good quality sound -easy to chose music -good for people who enjoy small selections of music
Cons: -only compatible with motorola music manager. In order to put music onto the the player, it needs to be downloaded on another softwhere and put onto a CD to be transferred to Motorola Music Manager -Lack of Space

Nice first player
Pros: I like the size and shape - its easy to take around. The controls are very easy to work as well. I can use it while I ride my horse with no problem. Love the lock function so I don't accidentally turn it off or change songs. On the whole, I think its
Cons: Earbuds suck! Not very good documentation - none on how to do things like load music onto extra memory (SD).

Great value! Fun size!
Pros: The FM tuner is a nice plus. The battery is AAA which makes replacing it cheap and easy. Good sound quality. The rubber trim keeps player from sliding around when using it in my car.
Cons: Only takes MP3, WMA and audible. Wish it took more formats. Earbuds will not stay in ears, not comfortable.

Never press lock when powering off!
Pros: Not a bad player, sound quality is giid. Menu system is not bad.
Cons: Arm band does not hold player in very well. Never power off unit and press the lock button down. I did because I kept it in my coat pocket when not in use back and forth to the gym. I did not want it turning on if the on button was to turn on by accident

Very good "on the run" player
Pros: Works well as a "gym" unit, I run, no problems Initial "learning curve", then it is pretty easy to use Looks "boxy", but size and shape actually work well Memory expansion slot enhances value FM tuner, decent, though not outstanding
Cons: Earbuds are minimal...so-so sound and not comfortable (true of most of these players)

A couple of defects
Pros: EQ, expandable memory, upgradable firmware, nice design, inexpensive ($99), large screen
Cons: I am on firmware 1.11. So far the unit is still functioning. I have come across a two defects and one issue with the device and I am hoping they can be addressed in a future firmware release. Defect 1. When listening to a long audio track, it is not p
