Summary: I have owned this player for about a week now. I bought this as I really wanted to stay away from iTunes.

I spoke to numerous Salesmen about whether this player was supported under XP64 but no one could give me an answer. This was reflected on the Samsung website. No where do they mention XP 64bit. I decided to go ahead and buy the player with the understanding that if it didn't work I could return it for a full refund.

I plugged the device into USB and was instantly shown installing new device. I then open Windows Media Player to find that the device showed in here also. I transferred a couple of Albums very quickly and then left the device to carry on charging.

Delighted the player worked with XP64 I decided to try it as I was working in the garden. The first problem I had was the device is almost too small for my hands and I nearly dropped it. Once I had the headphones in this was not as much of an issue. Second problem was the unit had to sit in my pocket as I can only find 2 cases. One by Belkin which is meant to fit on the arm and one from Noreve that is very nice but close to half the price of the player. Hopefully this will change as there are a lot of cases available in the UK just not many in the US.

The Samsung software installed on XP64 to my surprise but I will be sticking with WMP unless I am uploading pictures due to the Samsung software resizing the pictures for the Camera.

Overall a very nice player with a better and faster interface than a lot of other non iPod mp3 players on the market. Lightning fast transfers and background converting to a set bit rate are great features of WMP which seem to be little documented.

I have not tried to upload any non media files but the device does show up in Windows Explorer.

Summary: This is my first mp3 player which I bought as I recently joint a boring gym which plays no music.

I had budget of around $100 in my mind. After researching through cnet, I found flash drive based mp3 was suitable to my need. Besides stored song I wished to have FM capability too, hence I zeroed to SanDisk(Sansa)and Samsung(K3). I was more inclined towards Sansa as it was already in market with solid opinions by users and cnet directors. The K3 was recently introduced with 1 or 2 user opinions only, so I went to best buy stores for a look rather than shopping online.

I found K3 extremely appealing, sound quality better than expected and decided to buy it ($119) despite discount offered on Sansa models.I found Sansa to be thicker and not as attractive as K3. My friends really found K3 cool. K3 is something like krazer while Sansa is like razr.

I am satisfied with my purcase so far and I am listening it almost every day since I bought, about 10 days ago.

On the negative side, it almost slipped from my hand on occasion and I also found the earpiece port to be rather loose and it sometimes creates loose contact.

I wish futuristic model to arrive with video capability. At moment it only has picture storing capability and quality is surprisingly sharper, better than I imagined.

I would recommend this player to all music lovers and I would happly grade K3 9 out of 10.Good job by Samsung.

Summary: I just purchased my first mp3 player today. I felt like I was the only one in the world without one! I did some research before I bought it. I was looking at the ever-so-popular iPod nano, but I realized just how overpriced it is. It's $200 and then you have to pay to download music.

With my Samsung K3, it was so easy to install on my PC. It quickly browsed all my music files and it synchronized directly to my mp3 for FREE!!! And I paid just under $100 for it. A great investment, and I'm just loving how compact and cute it is. Works best for those who are on-the-go and need something simple. I'm not much of a gadget person, but this little gadget is fantastic. Go get you one!!

Summary: I was looking for a small unit to take to work and for working in the yard. I found this unit on sale and the price was so good I thought I would give it a try.
This unit is ultra small. It is very slim and easily slips into a pocket.
I love the way it looks. The front of the unit appears to have no buttons until you turn it on and the touch pad lights up.
The menu is very user friendly and easy to navigate. It is also visually appealing.
The unit itself I have no issues with. The main problem that kept me from rating it higher was the PC software. I have Vista and it does not work well on this operating system. The software should auto detect the player when you connect it to the USB port, but it will not work for me. I have found that the trick is to open the Samsung software before connecting the unit to the USB. Then I can transfer files. Overall the software is basic and nothing to get excited about.
I was also disappointed to learn that the unit does not support drag and drop functions. I have always liked just selecting the files I want and moving them to my MP3 players.

Overall a great unit that just need to connect to a Vista PC better. I'm hoping Samsung upgrades the software soon.
