Summary: This mp3 player is awesome. The FM tuner in awesome and the equalizer comes in handy. I ran my mp3 player for 2 weeks of casual listening before the battery died on me. It also plug and play so u dont have to install any stupid software. The only problem is that some time the batter indicator says that the batter in low for a second then it turns back to full. Its not that big of a problem because when its really low it'll show one dot or no dots constantly on the indicator

Summary: I bought this after having two Creative Muvos fail on me. There was a noticable decrease in sound quality compared to the Creative players in spite of the guy at Circuit City assuring me otherwise
After upgrading the firmware to get rid of the static issue concerning the display, many of my song titles in the display became unreadable. All in all a negative experience. I finaly gave in and spent the extra maney and bought an iPod Mini and have been thrilled with it.
That said, it is a workable, inexpensive player. It works and the sound quality is acceptable if you are willing to invest in some Shure in ear earbuds that cost as much as the player itself.2 out of 2 users found this user opinion helpful.

Summary: I had this player for about a month now and so far it has worked well. There was a problem with a faint static background noise while playing songs but I updated the firmware from the Sandisk website and the static noise went away. The only thing that I don't like about the player is that the earphones are a little uncomfortable. All in all I give it a 9! (minus 1 because of the earphones). Amazon has the best prices and free shipping.

excellent features
Pros: portable, packed with features, 15 hours with a single AAA battery, USB 2.0, many options with easy customizing. i Bought mine at Best Buy during the thanksgiving sale for 30$. Ever since i love taking it around. Who needs 40 gigs of music when it only ta
Cons: feels like cheap plastic, but that's why this mp3 player only weighs 1 oz. Put the protective plastic covering on and it'll keep it clean and safe.

Great price for a 512 player
Pros: You can't beat the price. I got it for $80 after price matching and rebates. The sound is great and the new firmware will allow you to change to different languages.
Cons: You should get better headphones or earphones than the one's that are provided.

CNet Raters Don't Know The Half
Pros: GREAT Sound (musical nuances I didn't hear w/ the so-called great-sounding Creative MuVo); great, large LCD; long battery life; nice player features; protective plastic case. I often find differences in my actual experience with a product & CNet's rev
Cons: You have to use a sync cable for transferring files (although this is plus considering those built-in keys tend to bend/break easily); there is somewhat of a learning curve with the controls.

Summary: I've only had this MP3 player for 3 months and I use it 5 days a week for about only 2 hrs a day. I use it while I'm out walking. However, it quit working on me 2 days ago and I can't figure out what happened. The display screen comes on where the logo gets displayed when you first turn it on, but it won't do anything else after that. I do not recommend this product to anyone.
