  Hypothetically wonderful. Functionally horrendous.

  Pros: Looks nice. Good storage in a small unit.

  Summary: I had high hopes for this device when I purchased. Never saw anything from Sandisk that wasn't top-notch. The Fuze+ is a tragedy, a train wreck, a veritable electronic nightmare. You simply can't trust the touch controls to work consistently. In fact at times, you press the controls and wonder if the unit has froze up. One minute it appears to be working; the next, you can't get it to do anything. And the navigational scheme probably made sense to somebody in development. But I wonder if that person still has his job. He shouldn't.

  Expensive Junk! Going to look into an I thing

  Pros: the only pro is the slot for the micro disc so you can upgrade size without paying more money.

  Cons: Horrible design. Touch screen unlocks when you slide it into your pocket, keeps freezing and needs to restart and reload. Micro slot stopped working after only a few weeks. Computer cnd add files to the micro disc but the Fuze cannot find it on the scr

  Summary: Sansa made a really bad decision to move from their great design with a scrolling wheel to this ridiculous touch-pad interface system. They must have thought they'd be more successful by copy-catting the ipod, but they failed horribly in this design. If you have the choice, DEFINITELY go with the earlier Fuze model rather than the Fuze +

  Pros: Great price point, covers all audio formats, video quality excellent, expandable via MicroSd, firmware upgrades, touch controls work well for a noob

  Cons: Smudges easily, minor glitches for audiobooks, though workarounds are not bad

  Great design, beautiful screen--plus .ogg and flac

  Pros: My selection is a bit limited because I need to have something that play both ogg vorbis and flac, as well as .mp3. I was pretty happy to find this--the price is great and it's exactly what I wanted. Easy to use on a sweaty run.

  Cons: The touch screen is somewhat sensitive to accidental triggering in your pocket, or hand. The ear buds are just an afterthought, there's no real manual in the box (you get it at Sandisk.com).

  OK, I finally got around to reading the manual--and forget what I said abut the touchy touch screen--it's easy to lock (3 seconds on pause/play) and easy to unlock (finger swipe up)--cool.
  
  And maybe, since I love this thing and just stuffed it with 8 gig of songs and podcasts, I should have purchased the 16 gib--but you can always add a card.

  Piece of crap. Just downgrade to Sansa Fuze

  Pros: Huge storage capacity for reasonable price.

  Cons: 1. Touch screen is sluggish. 2. Touch screen is too sensitive. 3. Pausing podcasts and audiobooks is inconsistent. When you turn the device on again, more often than not, you have to start all over again when you turn it on. This is a major pain

  Summary: In addition to the above noted cons are the following more minor complaints: 4. Because of the finicky touch screen, you can't operate this device from your pocket. 5. The software is hugely counter intuitive. 6. The lock function doesn't work well, sometimes it inadvertently unlocks, others you need to swipe the screen three or four times before it unlocks. 7. The movie conversion software still doesn't work. The first 5 minutes or so are OK, but then the sound and video are no longer in synch.
  
  In conclusion this device is terrible. In the next week or two, I'm downgrading to the normal Sansa Fuze that served me well, even though I am sacrificing 8 gigs of storage. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS DEVICE!
