The good: Investing in the HP Photosmart 7510 multifunction printer opens the door to cloud printing and downloading apps straight to the color touch screen, at a reasonable price.
The bad: There's no Ethernet port for a tethered wireless connection and the touch screen suffers intermittent precision issues.
The bottom line: The HP Photosmart 7510 e-All-in-One boasts quick output speeds, multiple connectivity options, cloud printing, and a growing number of apps in the HP Web store, earning our recommendation to those hunting for a flexible imaging machine.

Unreliable rip off
by kkla61 on January 22, 2013
Pros: Trying to think of one
Cons: When attempting to use wireless printing, I always cross my fingers hoping it will work, but 9 times out of 10, I have to reboot the printer. Also haven't printed a single photo without streaking, even with new ink.
Summary: Don't buy this printer.

Too expensive to operate
by Jmd2cnet on January 19, 2013
Pros: Does a lot of things fairly well
Cons: Will not accept refilled cartridges, so cost is very high. Also very slow.
Summary: There are much better all in one printers out there. I would not buy again.

I'm so tired of HP printer paper jams.
by Sisyrinchium on November 14, 2012
Pros: Prints decently on regular paper.
Cons: Will not feed photo paper. Jams every time. Since this is supposed to be a PHOTOsmart printer, it's refusal to actually feed photo quality paper makes this printer worthless.
Summary: This is the second HP printer I've owned. Both had severe paper feeding problems. This will be the last HP printer I own.

Summary: Got this HP Photosmart 7515 e-All-in-One printer from Costco for $109 which was a fabulous price plus a 2-yr (Costco) warranty. After reading the reviews on it, they were not all favorable. I currently own a very old HP LaserJet 4L and an HP Photosmart C6180. These are best printers I've owned and they're still running great. I decided to replace my C6180 since the rollers would no longer pick up photo paper and cleaning them no longer worked. But I decided to use a fine emery board and roughed up the rollers just a little. That seem to do the trick and it works again. However, in the interim I purchased the 7515.
I was skeptical after reading the reviews --- a lot of folks love this printer and some did not like it at all, especially after owning the C6180, but I gave the 7515 a try anyway. I love HP Products and Costco is the best when it comes to backing up the products they sell.
I've used this printer for a month now and while the 7515 does not come up to the C6180, however, it does exceed in areas of photo quality and speed! It was amazingly easy to set up too. My first project was to print my vacation photo scrap book. My 'foggy day' photos came out much better than they looked on camera - colors were vivid and pics looked like postcards. I was also using HP Creations software - great program too. I get a lot of great compliments on my photo-book.
I had (and still have) a few frustrating printer issues along the way. Some photos started streaking near the beginning of my project. This was sporadic and I still haven't figured out why. So I cleaned the print heads which uses a lot of ink. Also, when I got low on ink, the color intensity would change before I received my LOW INK warning. And when out of ink, the printer just keeps going with no warning (except for poor print-outs). I had to reprint a a few photos to get my quality back up there again. My C6180 would stop and tell you when you were out of a certain color, then ask if you would like to proceed.
I did use a lot of ink on this project but I was also printing colored backgrounds behind my photos. It stands to reason that excellent photo quality requires a little more ink usage. I'm very disappointed that I had to do reprints due to streaks (of unknown causes) and color changes due to lack of warning signal.
I had to clean my rollers a few times during my project. However, I was printing on special '2-sided photo paper' so I'm assuming the rollers picked up some of the ink from the first side of printed photos.
I've had a couple of jams and an error codes already. Something I never had on the C6180 until it was a couple of years old. Still don't know why but cleared them quickly.
Sometimes it takes forever for the printer to print. Never had that issue with my 6180 but I'm now printing wireless. This is another issue I need to research.
I would give this printer a 5 star rating on color quality, speed and ease of use/set-up. However, after comparing it to my old C6180, I would downgrade it to a 3-star for ink usage and stability/reliability. The 7515 has a permanent home with me but I've decided to keep my C6180 and LaserJet 4L for backups and I still use them on occasion.....have found this to be a wise decision on my part.1 out of 1 users found this user opinion helpful.

Not too impressed.
by jqturnerCNET on April 7, 2012
Pros: Seemed to have a nice set of features with printing to the printer from the Internet via email. Prints nice clear crisp color pages pretty fast.
Cons: Gives warnings when getting low on any ink color, BUT, does not stop printing when out. No way to stop it. Prints only whole document or the current page. Fax through eFax. You will need to sign up for eFax's paid account if lots of faxes.
Summary: Bottom line, is a nice all-in-one printer, and does most jobs pretty well, awkward for other niche jobs. We have other fall back printers for those other certain jobs. Knowing ...

Summary: I've owned HP Printers in the past and although a few bad reviews are out there, this 7515 Printer is fabulous. Easily networked it to my Desktop computer (Windows Vista), my laptop (Windows 7) and my kids OLD computer (Windows XP SP3) wirelessly. Functions great with my iPhone 4s and my wife's iPhone 4. Prints and Scans easily from any of the devices I just mentioned. Color prints to photo paper are very nice. Document feeder is quick and works well. Some of the bad review for this product are coming from people who apparently don't know how to read the outside of the box before purchasing (ie eFax complainers - it clearly states that the printer does not support normal fax line). Overall great product and is making my home/personal office projects easy.

Summary: so we have gotten two of these 7510 series all in one printers and neither the one we purchased initially or the one we received as a replacement worked in any sense of the word, the first one had the wrong or faulty firmware and it would initiate sleep mode mid print, the second one was worse.... it sprayed ink everywhere, the tech people were telling us to press buttons that weren't there and after 3 hours of the crappy "on hold" music and the tech support people accusing us of wasting their time and telling us that we've sent back and replace 4 separate printers when we have only had the one.... it wore us down i feared my mother was going to have a nervous meltdown with the outsourced tech support and 3 kids in the background trying to cooperatively walk puppies and make brownies. lets just end this on a nice simple note.... for the last 4 weeks we've been on call with tech support. Don't waste your time on this printer its junk.

Wish I had not bought this printer
by autonb on May 5, 2013
Pros: Decent prints
Cons: This thing is an unbelievable ink hog, with very few photos per round of ink cartridges. NO stopping when it's almost out of ink, so you end up with a lot of partially completed (wasted) photos.
Summary: Do not buy! Now I am in the market for yet another photo printer. Wish I had my old Canon I860 back! Hate HP!!
