The good: The Lexmark Pro715 is a streamlined version of its predecessor, the Pro705, with a higher-resolution 2.4-inch LCD screen and the company's enhanced Vizix 2.0 set of inks for vibrant photos and professional-quality documents.
The bad: For the same price, the Epson WorkForce 845 trumps the Lexmark Pro715 in several areas.
The bottom line: Lexmark's latest all-purpose office machine introduces a new set of inks with a separate print head that outputs higher-quality photos than the previous model, but competing devices give you convenient features like cloud printing and a larger touch-screen display for the same price.

Good printer, but don't count on wireless

Pros: Really good quality pictures, fast printing time, easy to use. Cartridges last a decent amount of time, especially since I use Draft Quality for most things. I also like the cartridge recycling program.
Cons: It can't hold a wireless connection at all. I can get it to make a connection, but it keeps dropping it. Since my office is small enough to run a USB cable, not having a wireless connection is not a necessity, but it would be nice to have it.

An absolute piece of junk.

Pros: None that I like so far. Got it at Sam's.
Cons: Drops a WIRED connection to my Apple every time the computer sleeps. Always has to be turned off and back on to scan documents. Wireless is useless. Does not stay connected.

Summary: I'm a sales consultant at a larger OfficeMax store. I've hardly ever been a fan of the Lexmark printers we carry. We just did the reset of printers. We carry a lot of the new Lexmark printers. Still not a fan. Selling the Lexmark printers isn't something I'm a fan of doing. We've had the most problems with the Lexmark printers and having them returned for being defective. The Lexmark printers are just something I try to avoid.
