  Full featured - but lacks efficiency

  Pros: VST plugins compatible.
  Allows audio effects from a huge library of commercially available plugins and many free ones.

  Cons: The coding is terribly inefficient.
  The decoding is horribly inefficient. Makes for a very slow render.
  The software does not make use of hardware video acceleration.
  Hence,the video playback of HD files is choppy and filled with interlace artifacts.

  Summary: If you still use the old standard definition cam corders this software is a wonderful tool. Full of features only found on professional editors. However, if you deal with the newer HD cameras, this video editor does not utilize video card hardware acceleration, making the editing process unbearable and visually very poor.

  Great Video Editing

  Pros: I use this for movies, documentaries, and music videos
  I would say it is better that Final Cut

  Cons: None that i can think of
