The good: Great read/write speeds; supports RAID 0, 1, 5; drives are hot-swappable; comes with backup software; includes print, DHCP, and file servers; compatible with UPnP media devices; generous warranty.
The bad: It's pricey.
The bottom line: The Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ offers a lot in the way of features and performance, which is good, because it's expensive.

I Love it's easy to set up and has a ton of features.

Pros: I Love that you have a world of possibilities at your fingertips like the bit-torrent feature.
Cons: Only thing that annoys me slightly is the missing cetificate for IE.

Summary: I like that you have so many features implimented in the product without having to buy any add-ons or subscribe to services Vs. the NetGear Stora where you have to pay if you want more services like bit-torrent and unlimited users. The ReadyNAS NV+ has ALOT of features but at the same time it's easy to set up so it can be used by novice who just want simple sharing at home to advanced useres who want more business required needs for outside the home.
I my self use it with my Xbox360 for streaming movies, pics and music. My NV+ have had it's RAM upgraded from the stock 256MB Unigen to 1GB Crucial and it works super
