  cool concept, but very misleading

  Pros: easy to setup. can support multiple bluetooth devices at once. easy to switch from device to device via hotkeys which are nicely layed out on your keyboard. fairly simple to configure which type of keyboard settings you are using (QWERTY, Apple).

  Cons: THERE IS NO COMMAND FOR "SEND" WHILE IN SMS TEXT!!!

  Summary: needless to say the idea behind this product is great, and when i won a raffle at work to get one of these units i was extatic. the setup took 5 minutes (opening the box included), but it was then a nightmare trying to find some sort of answer behind why there is no send command. i reached out to ATEN tech support and they told me... "There is no key command associated with the send button within iOS, so there's no combination of keystrokes you can use to send a message from a keyboard. Until Apple adds that functionality to iOS, you won't be able to send via any standalone keyboard." -- This being said, it sort of defeats the purpose behind this product if i have to type out a message on my keyboard only to reach over to my iphone to hit the send button. some may say don't be lazy, but if i had purchased this product only to find out there is no send function i would be livid. there is no documentation on the web about this missing feature, and (for obvious reasons) nowhere does ATEN mention this crucial missing feature on any product pages. i hope that this review dissuades other consumers from falling into the trap of buying this and being let down because of their omission.
