  Do not buy

  Summary: The pavillion feels very cheaply made compared to previus pavillions. It feels like a toy and like it would break if I looked at it wrong. I picked the computer up by the bottom and the bezel and this caused the screen to crack. HP will not cover it under warranty because they say it was "accidental damage". I picked up my computer on purpose ... not accidentally. I should have a reasonable expectation that the act of picking up the computer wouldn't break it. I've tried on other laptops to apply enough pressure to the bezel to effect the screen and I couldn't do it. I would not buy from HP and buy from a company with a better constructed product and better customer service.

  I'm updating this review because HP decided to do the right thing and repair the laptop for free. I'd increase it to 3 stars but the system won't let me

  JUNK! And terrible rapport with support!

  Pros: Lighted Keyboard

  Cons: Service!
  Graphic Card
  Warranty - You have to send back or work with support at least 3 times. Then they MAY do what they want in regards to your computer.
  HP will not post any (or minimal) negative issues on their web site.

  Summary: At first I really liked this computer - then the problems began. Graphic card issues. Warranty issues. After numerous calls to Tech support they escalated my issue, the they replaced the mother board and within 10 days it failed. Now they want me to resend a 4 month old computer to them again. Like buying a car and it spends one month out of 4 in the shop! With no solution!
  
  Then their "ambASSador called me after my scathing review on the HP web site. Refused to post my review - even tho all was true!
  I will never buy a HP again! Many prior issues with their computers and this graphics card.

  Pros: 1) when it works fine it is fast, but not good for gaming or audio like I hopes it would be

  Summary: This computer worked so well for the first 6 months then it started crashing. I've had it for less than 2 years and it over heats so easily. I bought it for music production because I thought it would be able to handle the stress, but it gets too hot too quickly. I even bought a cooling fan and still it overheats!!!!
  Also ths OS (windows 7) has crashed twice so I've had to reintstall everything twice!! Next time I'm buying a mac. I need something that will last for more than 2 years!
