  Avoid purchasing you'll be waiting months!!!

  Pros: The specs look great for the money, hence why I TRIED to buy one.

  Cons: I order it and keep getting emails every 2 weeks telling me they need more time with no ETA's.

  Thank you for purchasing our ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch laptop and we would like to thank you for your business and your patience. Due to demand exceeding supply worldwide, we regret that we are unable to determine a shipment schedule yet at this stage. We apologise for the delay but trust you will love ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch laptop and find it worth the wait.
  
  I emailed them to ask for clarification as to the magnitude of the delay and they had no idea.
  
  This is not the first model to have major delay issues. I have cancelled the order and there was not resistance from them. In fact they have been very quick to sort it out like it is a very well practiced procedure.
  
  Our company are look at alternatives to Dell so this was a test to see how these guys measure up and I have to say Dell are a lot more reliable and informative.
