  Works well on high power, but overheats often.

  Pros: As long as it's running on high power: pretty fast, good for multitasking

  Cons: When running on low power, Windows Explorer stops responding; no microphone (or camera); HEATING PROBLEMS, casing material absorbs fingerprints

  Summary: My biggest problem with it is the heating problems. It started overheating when I first got it. Sometimes it will go for months without overheating, but after that nothing will stop it. I've tried compressed air, manually wiping the fan, but it will overheat even on a perfectly flat table.
  
  I also experience a lot of problems when it's running on low power. Window Explorer constantly stops responding. As long as it's running on high power, though, it works great.
  
  The material the laptop is made of also gets dirty really easily. It's a real pain to constantly have to wipe it.
  
  Despite these criticisms, it actually is a good laptop for the price, though. As long as you run on high power, it is very fast. The overheating is annoying, but it tends to come and go in periods. There are better laptops, but this one is still pretty good. I tend to run a lot of programs at once and keep a large number of tabs open. I don't know about gaming because I don't do that much.

  Really cool laptop long lasting

  Pros: Long lasting medium hard drive space.
  long battery life
  lots of outlets

  Cons: No webcam or mike
  can be really slow at times (like it says not responding)
  includes a bunch of norton stuff that takes up so much space

  Pros: reliable, portable, lots of ram cheep

  Cons: no blue tooth, no camera or mic. but i really wouldn't use the cam much
  
  biggest con is the no blue tooth because to hook a wireless mouse up i have to have an usb adapter

  Pros: Superaffordable that cost arround Rp.7.000.000.- / US$ 500.-
  2.0Ghz AMD TURION 64 X2 (Good enough for everyday Home use)
  250GB HDD Big enough for storing everything.
  128 Dedicated ATI Radeon X1250
  Bright and Best Screen in the Market for it price!

  Cons: Just 2GB DDR2 wont be enough for Vista!

  ps: and compare to my older Toshiba Satellite M30X 129 (Centrino M 1.7Ghz)... This is much Faster and Better in Performance!

  basic machine with good specs but many flaws

  Pros: I like it has lots of ram and cpu power. The screen is great, the sound is okay. The touchpad is nice.

  Cons: After only 1 month of light use the power plug is already loose and wobbly. The DVD drive opens too easily (brush your hand by it and it slides open). The drive also is situated right by the power cord making awkward opening.

  Summary: It came with Vista and a bunch of bloat like Norton which slowed the laptop down a lot. Best Buy wanted $30 to REMOVE all this stuff (they call it optimization). Vista was broken out of the box and Windows Explorer would frequently not respond. The DVD drive is glitchy. I expect some possibly problems with this machine since it looks like Toshiba discontinued it really quickly. It was only $500 at Best Buy which was a good deal for the Cpu power and RAM and hard drive space. I gave this 2.5 stars because it seems like it is going to be another one of those fabulous computers that is designed to be obsolete in a few years and break after 4 or 5 years. However, it mostly works and does have everything you need to do basic surfing and watching and writing these days.
