Total waste of money if you have a previous version

Pros: I cannot identify anything that makes this software package preferable to what I had on my old computer.
Cons: Does nothing (to the best of my knowledge) the version that came with my computer in 2002 could not do. User interface (ribbon) inferior to previous version. Drawing tool bug in Word.

Summary: When I bought Office 2010 with my new computer, I was looking forward to new features and capabilities. I have yet to find any. Usability is actually inferior to what I had on my old computer because of the less convenient ribbon interface. The lasso drawing tool in Word does not seem to work; I had to stop the clock (on my billing spreadsheet) for work I was doing for a client because it would not have been fair to bill the client for problems caused by Microsoft's product.
As far as I can see, I spent something like $200 to get software inferior to what I had on my old computer.
