The maximum transfer speed is 3.9MB per second, which is equivalent to the speed of a 20X CD-ROM. It is also has a large buffer of 2MB. Fujitsu has tested the MCC3064SS to withstand conditions such as heat, humidity, moisture, multiple drops, dirt, magnets, X-rays, etc. Fujitsu's Magnetic-Optical Technology offers great security in archiving files and a fail-safe system for transferring data.
