Great game, true to its old school style.

Pros: This game is tons of fun, especially if you loved the 1988 Bionic Commando for the NES. It stays true to the original and has pretty awesome play control. Levels are fun and challenging. The graphics are almost seemless and detailed.
Cons: Takes some getting used to with the bionic arm. But that is part of the fun and reality of the game.

Summary: I think that the CNET editor that wrote this review missed the point of this game. They criticize the game for lack luster weapons, but the Bionic Arm is the weapon. The creators purposely don't give tons of ammo for any weapon (especially in the hardest gameplay modes) because they want you to use the Bionic Arm as your weapon of choice.
The game is one of the best I have played and definitely one of my favorite games ever. But, I loved the original for the NES so I am not totally impartial. Still a great game and far better than the rating seen here.
