Pros: -Good graphics -Good storyline -Many game saves
Cons: -Bugs -Annoying distorted graphics (Protagonist's dizziness) -Annoying protagonist voices and sound (when frighten and injured) -Not enough ammo with too many weapons -Not enough weapon with too much ammo (not even a knife) -old weapons -hard puzzles

Summary: The game was kinda buggy and there is a severe bug that won't allow me to pass the level like the "cannon scope bug" of Chapter 7 which cannot be solve by update patch, and the only way to solve it is to download a saved game of Chapter 7 after using the ship's cannon. The game also crashed for so many times.
Too much talking/conversation between characters and it could not be skip by pressing a button which would waist the players' time.
The game exaggerated with distorted graphics which also made me dizzy. Too much distortion of graphics does not always improve game play experience but could ruin the graphics itself as well as ruining the player's game play experience rather than helping the game play. It looks as if the protagonist had drank too much whiskey and being drunk before going on an adventure and fighting against the monsters. The protagonist/detective could feel dizzy so easily that even when he see a dead body at Devil's Reef, he felt dizzy as if he has never seen a dead body at a crime scene before even if he is a detective. That is crazy and funny.
The protagonist/detective kinda look like a weak nerd.
Sometimes, the protagonist sounded like a weak child or a small girl especially when he got frighten and started whining or whispering alone by himself while fighting against monsters or sometimes for apparently no reason and the graphics was distorted (dizziness). Unlike other protagonists from other games, he does not sound like a professional person or a professional detective because he could easily felt scared. His dumb and silly comments were like "Why am I here?" or "What's happening to me?" or "I'm going to die because I know" or "I should not be here". This is also one of the things that made this protagonist look weak and dumb.
Sometimes there are too much ammo but there is no weapon to pick and not even a knife for self-defense which made the picked ammo useless.
Sometimes there are too many weapons but there is no ammo to pick which made the weapons useless.
Fighting monsters with a gong made no sense on Chapter 9 as if the protagonist needs to make himself deaf in order to fight after hitting a gong very hard. This is one of the part that I got stuck and I did not understand why they made it this way.
Annoying sound from protagonist when his leg was broken and he could easily get his leg broken and his performance was as worse as a protagonist from Resident Evil 3 with about 95% injury so he moved very slowly.
Some puzzles are a bit too difficult like the Cthulhu statue puzzle and the locker numbers. Without the walkthrough, it could have taken forever just to solve these puzzles.
It would also have been more interesting or perhaps more fun if the storyline takes place in modern times with newer weapons because the old weapons had low rate of fire and were not the best ones. I wish there is a rifle like AK 47 but that was impossible since the game story took place back in 1922 when AK 47 rifle hasn't been invented yet, if I 'm correct.
The game could have been much better if these problems are fix. It is a shame because this game could have get 8.0 rating or even 9.0 rating. Anyway, it is still worth playing since the storyline was still interesting. I also like the electric blaster gun. The graphics are also fine. I will give it a 6.5 to 7.0 rating for this game.

I also would like to add that there are also too many day-time nightmare illusion scenes (mental hospital or sanitarium) from the protagonist while playing the game which is also another annoying thing.
