could not be a better game
by Jeffrey H. on November 18, 2007
Pros: every thing about the game is a PRO only one con.
Cons: wthat those folks with less powerful rigs can't play the game
Summary: the game is pretty awsome, the only problem is the mega deaths you have until you learn to properly use the suit.

One of the best FPS out there.
by DarthIsis on May 12, 2009
Pros: Great replay value. Fun gameplay... Your able to go through the same scenes nearly infinite times, never doing it the same way.
Great use of vehicles. Awesome graphics.Cons: AI could use minor improvements (ability to get into vehicles).
Summary: Must have for those who can run it.

Great game, but frustratingly hard.
by adam.acp on December 1, 2008
Pros: Graphics are pretty amazing.
Gameplay is intuitive.
Very expansive world.Cons: Just too hard. A game should be challenging, but not frustrating. As a part-time gamer, I had trouble getting though the first level on Easy.
Summary: Great for die-hard FPS fans. Casual gamers should avoid wasting their effort.

Great FPS,but it wants more graphic power
by jscott418-21618367473133020464 on May 2, 2008
Pros: Great first person shooter, graphics are great.Story line good.
Cons: Needs a top of the line graphics card to really show off the game

Summary: In my opinion this game plays well and is enjoyable on a older P-4 with a Nvidia 8600GT. But it still plays at a low graphics setting. Too bad, because many will not be able to afford what Crysis really wants in a card. I know I can't.
I am sure it will leave many feeling shorted because the game requires so much graphics power, that they cannot experience the game fully.I feel that way, and believe I paid for a game that I can only get 2/3rds use out of it. -

The Good: Amazing Graphics, Amazing Interaction with environement, OK Story Line, Good Weapons Option
The Bad: System freezes quite a bit, updates add to issues
Bottom Line: Buy it anyway, it is a must see if you have the hardware to support it! If Crytek fixes its bugs, i'm buying shares in that company! -

Best Game OF 07 for A Reason

Summary: Graphics are great, Story is good, Game takes a worth while twist towards the end. All in All I am very happy to have played this game. Its one of those games you invite a friend over and say hey look at this. Even my G/F who doesn't play games thought it was good. My only thing was I beat it on Normal in 2 days (by accident). And I did alot of secondaries. If they add more Single content it would get a 10 wish I could pick 9.5.

A FANTASTIC game! EA has real support issues
by galindenba on February 5, 2008

Summary: I just want to say up front that Crysis is one of the best PC shooters I have ever played if not the best. I love the weapons and the nano suit. The storyline is interesting, not predictable, and it's nice and long. Everything I want in a shooter with one issue. It has awesome graphics if you have the machine to run it, but it runs just fine on my 5 year old Dell XPS. However. this game has not run well on my very high powered Velocity Micro dual core/nvidia graphics, etc., etc. machine. It crashes almost every time I get killed or reach a checkpoint. Reading the forums this seems to be a fairly common issue. My Old Dell is running XP and the Velocity is running VISTA. Could this be the problem? It wouldn't surprise me. VISTA seems to have a lot of game issues. EA support site has not been of much help yet. Has anybody else had this issue and how do you fix it?
Updated
I agree with all the other reviewers that this is one of the coolest games ever made. When it was working I enjoyed it immensely!!! However, when I patched the game to 1.2 and 1.21 from the EA website thats when the problems started. Now I cannot save or load a game without the program crashing and taking me back to windows. I running a very powerful velocity micro with plenty of speed, ram, and graphic cards(Dual Nvidia) to run this game on Vista Ultimate SP1. Can anybody help me because I do love this game? -

Summary: I used to be a firm devotee to the Battlefield and Call of Duty franchises, but this FPS monster blows them all away. I am into Crysis and not even considering looking back. This is a game that gets it all 100% right, both in realism and Creativity. KUDOS to E.A. for another game of quality.
