Overall a Good Continuation

Summary: Well, since Doom 3 left a lot of people wanting more I guess they decided to provide it. I mean, 3 shots to kill the ending boss? I was really disapointed. I guess ID decided that they made a blunder because now we're here with Resurrection of Evil.
I have to agree with the other review here though. I was not impressed with the multiplayer of Doom 3. With Doom 1 and 2 we would often get together, my friends and I, to defeat the game on impossible settings with Co-Op mode. I was sad to see they never thought of this with Doom 3, and didn't take our review advice when putting together RoE. For those reasons alone, plus the fact the game felt like it was just more missions with a few different weapons, I gave the low rating.

Great Game...but

Pros: Graphics that make your skin crawl!
Cons: No co-operative mode for PC

Resurrection of Evil picks up approximately two years after the events of Doom 3. In the expansion, you're a combat engineer dispatched to Mars to investigate a mysterious signal. The Union Aerospace Corporation abandoned its facilities on Mars after the demonic invasion was thwarted. However, the UAC kept those events secret, thanks to a cover story about a disastrous industrial accident. Since then, no human has approached Mars, but a network of satellites was left in orbit to monitor the situation on the planet. When the strange signal is detected, you and a heavily armed team of soldiers and scientists are dispatched to investigate.
