Great game and tablet friendly.

Pros: Like a trip back up Avalon Hill.
Cons: Trips up Avalon Hill require real thinking.

Summary: This is a well designed game with lots to offer any strategy buff with patience. You don't really need me to tell you that. Suffice to say the many glowing reviews of Europa Universalis exist for a reason.
My main point in writing a capsule review of Europa Universalis III is to declare it "tablet friendly". Finding games that are tablet compatible can be a bit of a challenge. I'm hard pressed to name another one as nice as Universalis.
Definitely worth the download if you're looking for something to play with your stylus.
