Horrible attempt to create a game.
by rokuwobbles on February 27, 2012
Pros: The original idea.
Cons: Everything else.
Great concept but couldn't have been worse developed and put together if the raw code had been tossed in a cage full of chimps.Summary: Avoid this like the plague. There are too many games in this genre to throw any of it at this.

worst 60 bucks I ever spent on a game
by nofalcon on March 26, 2011
Pros: the ads were cool, had a good story
Cons: graphics were crap, freezes, and way too short of a game, you dont even get to win and it's just over
Summary: I saw the commercials and thought it looked good and had an awesome story, I would have been ok with the lagging and crappy graphics if I at least got ...

waste of money!
by coulterjeff on March 22, 2011
Pros: Almost all other recent FPS have this one beat.
Cons: Server problems. Connection problems. Cant pick or see what game you want to join. Cant see your score in-game. Cant change options in-game. Cant play multiplayer against AI. Cant choose spawn. This game was released WAY too early. More problems than any

Another CoD clone robbing you of your paycheck.
by detr1k on March 21, 2011
Pros: The graphics are very nice.
The game play is reasonably fast-paced.
The weapons are good - Ex.- the shotty, it actually works like a real shotgun, and has range, you can shoot a guy 20 yards out and still hit and kill him.Cons: The biggest one of all -ITS RIDICULOUSLY SHORT- I played the campaign on the second Hardest Difficulty, and beat it in a little less than five hours.
Secondly, those pretty graphics, require a rig made by some far away alien race with a 17 terabyte pSummary: This game starts off with a bang, and makes you think its going to be a heck of a ride, but shortly after the intro level and main character introductions, ...
Summary: This game starts off with a bang, and makes you think its going to be a heck of a ride, but shortly after the intro level and main character introductions, it falls right into a classic Call Of Duty rail shooter, the story is poorly planned out, causing a lot of the scenes with dramatic intent to come off as laughable or out of place. The processing power required is ludicrous for the overall graphics of the game, and worst of all, the game is SHORT--I'm talking REALLY SHORT. $60 for five hours of play? Not worth it. If you want to play this game, go rent it and play it on console.

Short, buggy, trite and derivative...
by F3ck on March 20, 2011
Pros: A slightly new take on every-single-generic-shooter-ever-made...but only slightly.
Some decent atmosphere/mood.Cons: It has all been listed above:
Buggy as hell
Highly derivative (felt JUST like every lame COD on-a-rail game I ever endured)
Poorly [voice] acted
Hilariously bad AI and animations (wait until you throw a grenade/C4 for the first time)
Expensive
ShortSummary: Don't...just don't.

long awaited first person shooter
by soundfader on March 18, 2011
Pros: the pro's are that you get to shoot a lot of baddies..
Cons: this game lacks real stability, both in graphics, gameplay, and overall creation, gun sounds and graphics are bitty and unreal, the game graphics are somewhat arcade style represented by a 1200 ms point budget, there is nothing new to offer any fps fan, t

Summary: to sum things up if you are rich and want to waste £40 then this is for you, if your a fps fan and expecting the high standards of other fps games to be duplicated in this one then your heading for a fall, i definately am trading my copy in as i will no longer play this, the enjoyment factor im afraid isnt what i expected and i feel let down by all pre release reviews and videos. back to the drawing board for the developers on this one im afraid....

Worst $50 spent since Daikatana
by Killer_Ear_Infection on March 18, 2011
Pros: I got Metro 2033 for free on Steam for buying this garbage.
Cons: Graphics engine SUCKS, Gameplay = COD and BF:BC2 with all the fun taken out of it, campaign mode is horrendously scripted, ham-handed and poorly executed, $50 for $9 worth of value, Requires a computer from the year 2155 in order to play it, but you also

Summary: OK, it's not fair to compare this to Daikatana since I didn't have to wait 3 years for it but their marketing concept got me. Play Red Dawn as a game. Too bad it runs like an old fat dog with arthritis. Honestly even Left 4 Dead looks better than this game and actually runs well on my computer. Since this is part of the picture on why I'm disappointed with it, here's my specs: 2.5 GHz quad core, 4GB RAM, ATI 5770 in crossfire. At full 1920 x 1200 resolution at medium settings it's completely unplayable. Scaling it all the way down to the lowest resolution at medium settings was the only thing that made it smooth enough to run. Then you can really suffer. The campaign FORCES you to watch through its cinematics EVERY SINGLE TIME! There's no hitting the escape key to skip anything. If you want to play it you HAVE to spend a solid 5 minutes EACH TIME before you can get started. Then once you watch the whole thing through the mechanics are so broken you can't even get out of the bus that you're trapped in.
Save your money, this is probably the single worst game I've ever bought. The multiplayer is garbage. It's like they took all that made Call of Duty and Battlefield great and put it into a fun extractor, then took the left overs and packaged it as this piece of crap. Seriously it's like the crappy parts of COD blended with the concepts of Battlefield but in tiny arenas. ugh even thinking about this garbage makes me feel like throwing up. -
It is complete rubbish.
by hobart7018 on March 18, 2011
Pros: You can shoot through your AI team mates. This is good because they always stand in front of you.
Cons: You buy a retail DVD copy of the game, but you still have to download an extra 5Gb before the game will run. You start playing and then you realize that you cannot move until the game lets you move. The game tells you where to go and what to do. You have
